Monday Tabletop Games at The Golden Lion Pub
Monday Tabletop Games at The Golden Lion Pub
It's **Monday** which means the fun and games are at **The Golden Lion Pub**, Romford, tonight! Come join us & meet like minded gamers & new & old friends for a bit of board gaming, RPG, card gaming or Wargaming fun 🎲 Bring your own games or grab one from our selection of over 100 games & play while you enjoy a drink & some pub grub 🦁 🎟 For full access to our club & all it's games, we ask that each attendee give a suggested donation of a £1 entry fee at both our venues. This is just £1 per person, per night. This is simply to help the club cover it's expenses & stay operational. We have a fund in place if you are struggling financially though so please ask us and we will cover you no problem 🙂 At the Lion, you will find an "Honesty Box" attached to the side of our games shelf so please put your entry fee in there. We thank you hugely for your support. ⚠️ Lastly, the Golden Lion are extremely generous to us by giving us their function room every single Monday. With that in mind, please look after the space. Please take glasses down with you & clear all your rubbish & if you move tables & chairs, please put them back the way you found them at the end of the night 🙏 Thank you all & game on 🎲

On Monday, 30th March at 18:00, we are hosting a spontaneous social at **The Hydrant** (Monument), upstairs in the large function room. 📍 *1 Monument St, London EC3R 8BG* We literally put this together today for today, so it is very last-minute and casual. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re coming alone or with friends. ⸻ **Do I need to know anything beforehand?** Not at all. This is an easygoing meetup, and many people will be joining for the first time. No preparation needed, just show up. Dungeons & Dragons at the Drill
Dungeons & Dragons at the Drill
Stories await with our main shared world in which the Questly Squids make a mark on the world by joining us in a wonderful world of magic. Open to new and veteran players alike! If you are new to the group we recommend you message an organizer to ensure you have a table to play on. Our members are friendly and helpful if you are new to the game so do not worry about knowing all the rules! We recommend bringing a set of polyhedral dice and a pen/pencil. But we have plenty of spares you may borrow on the night if you don't have any. We host our games in a shared campaign spread across 3-5 tables of players. each table has 1 DM (dungeon master) who runs the game for you and a fellow 3-7 players on the table alongside you out on a quest! Quests last for 3 sessions and then the tables mix again with new player groups and possibly new DMs. How does this all work? You'll have to pop down and see. THE QUESTLY SQUIDS NEED YOU!

Full Moon Gong Bath Beckenham Place Mansion
Full Moon Gong Bath Beckenham Place Mansion
**Cosmic Souls,** **A very warm welcome to anyone who is considering booking this session.** **I am back in the stunning Beckenham Mansion; a place like no other and a magical location that is loved by so many.** A grand, old building with an adjoining park right around the corner from New Beckenham train station. Bring a friend or two and get ready to be bathed in the healing frequencies of the gong. This session will honour the lunar cycle. We will tune into the power of the Full Moon and focus on bringing healing to past versions of ourselves as we step into a bolder way of being. Our evening together will involve an overview of the full moon and how it may affect you; followed by a guided meditation. Once you are in a state of deep rest, you will be taken on a cosmic gong journey. There will be space at the end for snacks and to draw an oracle card (or two)! All you have to do is turn up with an open heart & mind, chill on your yoga mat and melt into the floor :-) The gong, with its mighty roar and gentle whisper, helps us to tap into our innate wisdom and stillness within. ## IMPORTANT BITS AND BOBS: **ARRIVAL:** **Please arrive 5 minutes before the session begins and avoid being late, as late-comers cannot be admitted. Session will start at 7:00 pm.** There is no reception desk in the mansion and once the session is in flow I can't admit anybody in. Therefore, please be punctual. **WALKING THROUGH THE PARK IN THE EVENING:** The mansion is located in the middle of the park. There are large fairly lights that light up the path leading from the main entrance at Beckenham Hill Road to the mansion. Currently, there aren't any additional streetlamps. If you are driving, you can drive all the way up to the mansion - please close the wooden gate behind you. I will provide the access code in the preparation email, sent before the event takes place. **EQUIPMENT: Please bring your own yoga mats blankets (sleeping bags). Dress extra warm in layers. This is an old Georgian mansion and it can get a bit chilly in the winter months, I can't stress this enough.** Please be punctual, we start at 7 pm sharp. I allow an additional 10 minutes for latecomers but after that, the doors will be closed. ## CONTRAINDICATIONS: Please be advised that by booking your ticket to this event, you are also in agreement that the session is safe for you and that you take full responsibility for your own health & well-being. Please have a read through the following contraindications BEFORE booking your ticket: Gong baths are not recommended for pregnancies in the first trimester, individuals with pacemakers/metal implants, epilepsy or any form of a serious mental health condition. By purchasing your ticket, you confirm that you have read and understood these conditions. **Your facilitator:** Theresa is a triple water sign and is currently embracing her Taurus North node (IYKYK). She holds transformative spaces in London and will open her books for 1:1 bookings soon. She is a mother to two young girls and spends her time chasing fairies in the park or baking cupcakes. She trained in many disciplines but sound healing and in particular the gong captured her heart. She sends gratitude to her teachers of Tone of Life and Leo Cosendai. By booking your spot, you also agree to be added to Theresa's newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Gloomhaven One-Shot @ LWG Tuesdays
You asked for Gloomhaven — so we’re getting it to the table. This session is a **Gloomhaven one-shot** at **LWG Tuesdays @ 7 Dials**, designed as a welcoming way for interested players to jump in and experience the game in a single evening. Whether you’ve played before or you’re simply Gloomhaven-curious, this is a chance to enjoy the tactical combat, cooperative puzzle-solving, and “we are definitely professionals” adventuring energy the game is famous for. Expect: * a self-contained session * a friendly, guided start * plenty of table talk, teamwork, and glorious bad decisions * a good fit for both returning players and interested newcomers You do **not** need to own the game, and we’ll aim to make onboarding as painless as possible. This event is being offered first to people who registered interest through our RPG / Adventure Gaming form, so if that was you — good news, this is your nudge from the universe. Come delve some ruins, make some questionable tactical choices, and see whether Gloomhaven might deserve a regular place on Tuesdays.

Join OverBoard to play the brilliant social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower in person at the brand new board game cafe Otter Chaos in Brixton. If you haven’t heard of Blood on the Clocktower before it is an evolution of classic party games like Mafia/Werewolf where a hidden evil team takes on the good team by lying and killing. The good team has a few tricks up their sleeve but will have to work together to deduce who the evil doers are in their midst. **This is a beginner friendly event so no experience with the game is necessary.** Please note that a gaming cover charge of \~£5 will be payable by each attendee to the venue so that we can make use of the space. Book Bedazzling (BYOB) - Bloodguard by Cecy Robson
Let's bedazzle some books while we discuss our April pick: Bloodguard by Cecy Robson! Book description: One hundred years. Tens of thousands of gladiators. And today, only one will rise… Everything in the Kingdom of Arrow is a lie. Leith of Grey thought coming to this new land and volunteering to fight in the gladiator arena—vicious, bloodthirsty tournaments where only the strongest survive—would earn him enough gold to save his dying sister. He thought there was nothing left to lose. He was wrong—and they took everything. His hope. His freedom. His very humanity. All Leith has left is his battle-scarred body, fueled by rage and hardened from years of fighting for the right to live another day. Then Leith meets Maeve, an elven royal who is everything he despises. Everything he should hate. Until the alluring princess offers him the one thing he needs most: a chance to win the coveted title of Bloodguard—and his freedom. But in a kingdom built on secrets and lies, hope doesn’t come cheap. Nor will his ultimate revenge… Event: Please bring your own book, journal, bookmarks, etc to bedazzle. If you have bedazzling supplies, please bring them as well. I will supply gems, glue, and picker tools, but if you have certain colors in mind, you may want to bring your own.
