Come along and swim, float, or just paddle your feet — it’s all about good vibes, fresh sea air, and meeting fellow seals ahead of the big day 😊 We will meet at the changing shelters at 10am After the dip, there’s the option to warm up in the nearby sauna at Sandycove Store & Yard or just grab a coffee — a perfect way to toast the season and leave feeling cosy and refreshed. **++Looking for new players++** We play a 6v6 outdoor game every Wednesday @ 8:00PM in SportsCo, Dublin 4. The pitch we use has been recently refurbished with plenty of space to move around (*bibs provided*). To encourage passing and flowing football, goals can only be scored from inside the penalty area. Games are played in a friendly atmosphere and slide tackles are prohibited. We generally don't have stick keepers and use a last-man back policy. There is a core group of regular players who have played with us for years but we also need a handful of pickup players (men) every week. If pickup players like the vibe they have the option to subscribe on a longer-term basis... usually €60-€70 per quarter. This game has been running on the same pitch for over a decade. The games are good quality with good technical players and played in a nice, competitive atmosphere.

Distance 73 Kms, 385m ascent Today we cycle out through north county Dublin’s quiet rural roads to reach Fourknocks Passage Tomb, a Neolithic tomb 5,000 years old on the border of counties Dublin and Meath: https://www.discoverboynevalley.ie/boyne-valley-drive/heritage-sites/four-knocks. A lovely route through north county Dublin. Here is our plan for the day. 1️⃣. We leave from St Anne’s Road Pocket Park, beside Drumcondra Train Station (corner of Drumcondra Road and St Anne’s Road ) at 9.30am. 2️⃣Cycle out the north city suburbs using mostly bike lanes, then through Santry Demesne park and on, passing St Margaret's, and onwards to Lispopple, Oldtown and on to Ardcath and Fourknocks on quiet rural roads, 3️⃣ We stop for a coffee in Oldtown, and also for coffee/lunch in Garristown village. 4️⃣ The return journey is via Garristown , Killsallaghan and St Margaret’s and through Ballymun before we finish in Drumcondra. All going well we should be back in Drumcondra by 3pm. * *Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment.* * *Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture.* * *Please cycle single file on narrow busy roads* WAIVER & RELEASE: We are a group composed of volunteers. In this 2-hour session, we’ll: • Create two quick practice paintings to warm up and learn techniques • Finish with a more detailed final illustration • Use pencil sketching, watercolour techniques, and fine liner inking once dry I’ll guide you through: • Understanding puddle strength and water-to-paint ratios • Blending and layering techniques • Using linework to elevate your final piece To make it accessible for all skill levels, I’ll provide: • Step-by-step “how to draw” guides. All materials are included — just bring yourself and a creative spirit! ✨ Come solo or bring a friend. A perfect way to unwind, learn a new skill, and make something you’re proud of.

I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.
