Are you a beginner fursuit maker who wants to learn the craft? Are you into electronics and want to figure out how to make your LED strips emit custom patterns? Or maybe you want to talk on the radio with your fluffy friends? No matter how big or small, fluffy or simple the project is, bring it in to us for a social, fluffy event for all cats, dogs, wolves, foxes, and even protogens or any other species known. All you need to take part is an idea that you want to bring to life. The furry maker night will run every first week of the month. This is not a taught class, more like an informal working group of self-directed makers. While you can bring your fursuit in, either to work on it as a project or for repairs, it is heavily discouraged to wear them inside the space. Accessories such as tails are also discouraged for safety reasons. We are looking forward to seeing every fur in our space.

*Summer Solstice Hike with Wild Camping up to Lugnaquilla.* *This is a great opportunity to anyone who want to learn how to pitch a tent, how to camp in the wilderness and experience a night hike up to Lugnaquilla.* *The weekend is organised but a qualified instructor and course Director of Mountaineering Ireland. During those 2 days, you will gain useful information and skills that will help keep you safe on the hills and mountains during daytime or nighttime.* *As part of the 2 days, I’ll talk about the geology of Ireland, the last Ice Ages, the origin of the Irish peat, the first people who transformed the Irish landscape, the flora and fauna.* *Our hikes are not only enjoyable but, educative too.* *In addition to this you will learn about safe movement skills, basic navigation, basic map reading, equipment and safety considerations which are part of the Mountain Skills Course syllabus.* *What do I need for the 2 days.* *A 1- or 2-men tents can be provided as well as some cooking stoves however, you will have to carry them.* You will need to bring food for the 2 days included snacks (I’ll provide a list of food you can bring) *In addition to a small sleeping back, you will need to wear comfortable clothing like - leggings, tracksuit bottoms, breathable T-Shirt and fleece & an extra warm layer (fleece). Be ready for the rain and pack a rain jacket and rain trousers. A hat and gloves to keep you safe from the wind. Wear good sturdy walking shoes or hillwalking boots with woolly or synthetic socks. Don’t forget to bring first aid kit with plaster and bandages, personal medicine, inhaler, epipen etc.* *Maps and compasses can be supplied by the instructor. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return. Hi all, lets meet at 12h to play Beach Volleyball in BullIsland, near the car park on the "Statue of Our Lady, Star Of The Sea" side of BullIsland. From Clontarf Rd cross over "The Wooden Bridge" and keep going on until the end, turn left when you see the beach car park and keep going to the left. We will set the nets beside the car park 😉 Please avoid to park at the beach because the car can get stuck on the sand. If you come by car park as soon as you find space and then walk. The idea is to have lunch at the beach and play beach volleyball. Please bring water, sun glasses (for the sand more than the sun) and sun cream (even when it's cloudy you can still get burned with the wind). I would love to create another lovely healthy group to have fun with and enjoy the weather whenever it's possible. All levels are welcome because the goal is to have fun and do some exercise.
