Learn how to build your own AI Assistant
PLEASE PURCHASE **CHF 29** TICKET VIA [LUMA](https://luma.com/h9onh8lt) TO GET INVITED TO THE ONLINE SESSION.
Most AI workshops show you slides. This one gives you something to take home.
In 2-3 hours you'll build a personal AI assistant that actually knows how you work: what drains you, how you prioritise, what you keep forgetting. No coding. No fluff. Just your laptop and one problem you wish would solve itself.
You leave with something working. Tonight.
**What to expect:** You'll learn how to build your own AI assistant using Claude and taking advantage of Claude skills and MCP connectors. All whilst you get to sip on your Aperol (or San Bitter as an alcohol-free alternative).
**What to bring** A Claude account (free plan works). Claude Pro recommended if you want to go further on the night.
**Works even better if you use one of these:** Notion, Asana, Linear, Jira, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, ClickUp, [Monday.com](https://monday.com/). Claude connects directly to all of them, so your assistant can see your actual tasks without you pasting anything.
Don't use any of these? No problem, you'll still build something that works.
Note: this works best if you use Gmail, Notion and anything available here [https://claude.com/connectors](https://claude.com/connectors?utm_source=luma). Unfortunately, Microsoft suite (eg outlook) users won't be able to automate as much and would require more manual work, because no native connector is available. You'll still learn the basics of how to create a reusable Claude skill and Claude project.

Designing for Behaviour Change: Build for Humans, Not the Backlog
**Most products are designed to move people in a certain direction.** But when it comes to behaviour change, pressure and punishment **often** **backfire.** They may create short-term compliance, but they can also leave users feeling guilty, frustrated, or simply ready to give up.
**In this talk, Mi Xue Tan explores how UX can support lasting behaviour change through positive reinforcement.** Instead of designing systems that fight human psychology, she looks at how we can build experiences that work with it — reducing resistance, creating motivation, and supporting small steps that add up over time.
This matters for the UX community because every product shapes behaviour. When we design with human needs and motivation in mind, retention does not have to be forced. It can emerge more naturally through experiences that feel supportive, effective, and genuinely human.
**[Mi Xue Tan](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mi-xue-tan-3030b5120/)** works at the intersection of data, user research, and human behavior. With a background in data science and UX research, her work xplores how thoughtful design and positive reinforcement can support meaningful behavior change. Her focus: using data, psychology, and good communication to **create experiences that people don’t just use — but stick with.**
