25's - 45's Pool Scuba Try ๐ฌDive (PADI) For First Timers๐ณ.
Do you like to try an indoor pool scuba dive ๐ with scuba dive equipment๐ณ? If you are interested in going for this Pool scuba try dive๐ฌclass, please RSVP early as there will be other people going beside this meetup. If anyone cannot make it on this day and wants a different date, RSVP and you can change your date to another date. I will send you the information details to book your pool dive a week that suites you. ๐

This event is (PADI) scuba dive for First Timers ๐ฌwho are interested in trying Scuba Diving๐ ๐. This will be a scuba dive in a large swimming pool 5m deep at one end. Cost is about 55 euros. Scuba dive equipment will be included and supplied. You will be shown how to use scuba diving equipment by a dive instructor. If you do well in the pool, you can go to the next step and take up an open water PADI dive course qualification. With this qualification it will allow you to do open water scuba diving world wide. Dublin open water boat dives and weekend Atlantic sea boat dives trips and or Fjord boat scuba dives trips will be also avaliable to you around Ireland and World Wide once you are a PADI Open Water qualified scuba diver.
People use Sea swimming for its healing properties,it washes viruses, bacteria and cleanse your skin amongst other things due to the sea salt content. Since the pandemic there has been a large increase in people going swimming. Scuba diving also refreshes your mind like hiking to start a new fresh day and a new work week. Anyone interested, please RSVP and I will send you the booking information.
As usual this is a sporting event, so when you RSVP and attend this meetup, every person is responsible for their on health and saftey and accept full responsibilty.
Clock Off, Kick Off Tuesday!
Weekly pickup game, been running consistently for a while now. Good group of players, decent level -not too serious, not a kick-about either. 8.5 a side pitch, ball and bibs sorted.
**โฌ8.5 per person** โ covers the pitch booking in SportsCo plus a bit for the
equipment. I book the pitch, show up early, bring the balls and bibs, sort the teams on the night. I'm playing too, so it's not a managed session โ just someone keeping it organised so it actually happens every week.
Bring boots that work on turf, no metal studs, shin pads if you're used to wearing them, and water.
We cap at 10. If you book and can't make it, cancel early so someone off the waitlist can jump in.

Meet up, Warm up, and Get Moving to Get Fit :)
We will start the session with some light stretching exercises to warm us up, and help to prepare us for the run. The pace of the run will be steady, depending on who is running with us on the day.
Days when we have a large group we may break into multiple groups, each operating independently at their own pace.
Saturdays are good for intermediate runners, and is usually a 10km run, again at a steady pace.
If you're looking to get into running, come along on Tuesday or Thursday mornings and I will coach you, at your pace, to get you up to running (jogging) to 5km without stops. The only thing I will ask, if you're a beginner, is that you're able to walk for approx 30 minutes at a relaxed pace.
PLEASE NOTE: That, if you RSVP a particular event, then please ensure that you attend, as there may be other members relying on you for company on the run.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any run or activity that you participate in with the group will be at your own risk.
Usually we have a post run (after our cool down) coffee in the Dash container at the Hole in the Wall pub.

Arrival is flexible from 19:00. Weโll play some casual badminton, frisbee and hang out while enjoying the sunshine together. โ๏ธ
Bring snacks or drinks for the picnic if youโd like.

Djouce & Luggala 32km
If anyone fancies a good stretch of the legs on Sat....a 32km hike from Crone wood, across Maulin and Djouce, over to Luggala (fancy) mountain and back. Ascent will be between 1600 - 1900m depending on whether we take in Douce and Maulin on the way back.
Might be a good one for anyone thinking of doing the 7 7s with us in July.

Sugarbush Trail Hike
Join us for a great 2 mile hike through Blendon Woods Metro Park, hiking the Sugarbush Trail. This is a largely wooded hike on a flat dirt trail with some tree roots and rocks. Please meet us at the start of the trail in the Nature Center parking lot.
Hike Chestnut Ridge - 9:30am
We will hike the Ridge Trail and Meadows Trail twice, for a total of 3.8 miles. There are some pretty good inclines so plan on getting a cardio workout :). This is a loop which is pretty easy to follow You could also just do the loop once for 1.9 miles. No one left behind.
There is a chance of rain so this hike will be canceled the prior night if rain prediction during hike or if there is fewer than 4 attendees.
