Along the way, we pass historical sites and the Rudow-Altglienicke Landscape Park. The approximately 12 km long tour ends at Stubenrauchstraße. In April, we’ll set off together on the Berlin Wall Trail – along Berlin’s southeasternmost city limits. Our starting point is the Lipschitzallee U-Bahn station. From there, the trail leads us first through a quiet residential area and out to the Berlin Wall Trail. Soon, the view opens up across the vast fields in the south of the city – and with a bit of luck, we’ll be accompanied by the rapeseed blossoms, which bathe the landscape in a vibrant yellow. A special highlight awaits us at Dörferblick: The verdant hill rises approximately 86 meters and rewards us with an impressive view as far as Großziethen and the BER Airport. We continue to the former border crossing at Waltersdorfer Straße – a historically significant site from the time of German division.
