Una práctica de danza basada en la escucha corporal y el contacto físico como punto de partida. A través del peso compartido, el apoyo y la improvisación, se exploran nuevas formas de movimiento, confianza y comunicación con el otro.

Buenas! (English below) Cada día aparecen formas nuevas de aprender español, (y otros idiomas) apps nuevas, métodos de gramática, IA, videos de profes explicando cosas, y están todas genial. Si te ayudan a entender más y a hablar mejor están genial. El plan de este grupo es mejorar tu español con juegos, actividades reales y ejercicios para hablar más. Con la excusa de los juegos y las actividades corregimos la mayoría de errores: Palabras difíciles, confundir pasados, preposiciones, verbos que significan muchas cosas, ser y estar en pasado, frases con dos verbos o mas, subjuntivo, expresiones coloquiales, y también los errores "culturales”: ¿De que forma usamos los españoles el idioma en diferentes situaciones? La gente que participa es (casi siempre) muy simpática, y normalmente deja reviews muy positivas de las clases. Every day there are new ways to learn Spanish, (or any language) new apps, grammar methods, AI, teachers explaining things on videos, and they are all great. If they help you to understand more and to speak better, they are great. The main plan in this group is to improve your Spanish with games, real activities and exercises to speak more. All the games and activities are a good excuse to correct the most difficult/ frequent mistakes: Difficult words, confusing past tenses, prepositions, verbs that mean many things, ser and estar in the past, sentences with two or more verbs, subjuntive, colloquial expressions, and also “cultural" mistakes: How we, Spanish people, use the language in different situations? People participating are (almost always) very nice, and usually leave very positive reviews of the classes. If the plan fits you, come to practice your Spanish and we'll talk about food, travel, work, culture, Internet, local issues, business, news and many more things. Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
