Every week is a badminton academy for improver/intermediate/advanced standard. I also run thirteen teams that play in leagues out of the academy. Unfortunately this class does not cater for beginners! Wanting people who wish to enjoy and improve with games and advice with a coach who has played county and national level badminton, and has also played for England. Just come along, bring a racket, very friendly atmosphere! A lot of women have said they want a space where they can actually meet and communicate properly, so this is a simple BSL social. It’s a group of women meeting at the bar, practising British Sign Language, chatting properly, and spending a couple of hours together. Most women come on their own. That’s completely normal here and we make sure you don’t feel awkward walking in. Women usually range from their 20s through to their 60s. It’s normally a mix of new and returning women, so you won’t be the only new person there. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s very common. A truly beautiful 10 mile walk along the River Wey that takes in delightful historical ruins of Waverley Abbey and Frensham Little Pond & Great Pond too ! Let's go with the flow ! Please arrive by 9.20am at Waterloo under the clock so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets for the 10am train to Farnham that arrives at 11.16am after changing at Guildford.
