Join us for a life-giving, positive evening of healing and empowerment as we shine a spotlight on the courageous journey of Black and women of color cancer survivors. This meetup is a safe space for queer women of color to connect, share experiences, and uplift each other. We will have open discussions about the unique challenges faced by us in our cancer battles, while also celebrating our strength and resilience. Come prepared to listen to inspiring stories, engage in supportive conversations, and build connections with fellow queer women of color who are overcoming or have overcome cancer. Let's honor the journey of queer women cancer survivors and stand in solidarity with one another as we continue to thrive and uplift in our community.

We had a wonderful time together in November and December at this restaurant, so let's do it again! We already have 9 women signed up with FFF>50 on the Mighty Networks platform, but I'm putting it out here too, hope you can join us (we'll create two or more tables if necessary!). Join us at the highly rated CIRCA restaurant just steps from the Foggy Bottom metro station. We'll sit on the covered patio, which has overhead heaters and plastic window covers so it should be comfortable, and it's quieter for conversation than the indoor space. Enjoy small plates, a full meal, salads, cocktails, beer on tap or whatever you'd like best on a Sunday afternoon. Ladies! Join us for a cozy winter afternoon of board games and hot chocolate at my sister Cat's place in Annapolis. We'll have a hot chocolate bar with all the fixings--bring your own cookie to crush as a topping if you'd like! (Please no peanuts or tree nuts.) Join Soft Life Society for a cozy and intentional Cultural Potluck Night centered on community, connection, and culture. This is a potluck-style gathering where each guest is invited to bring a dish that represents their culture, heritage, or a family tradition. We will be tasting and sharing each other’s cultural foods while connecting through conversation, laughter, and soft living. The evening will also include fun games and a prize for the winner. Drinks will be available, but guests are welcome to bring their own favorite beverage if they prefer. This is a relaxed, welcoming space to slow down and enjoy a beautiful evening together.
