The event is part of our WEEKLY MEETUP SERIES. ---- Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The organiser will reserve courts in advance - PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOU REALLY PLAN ON COMING (OR CANCEL ASAP IF SOMETHING CAME UP). We are meeting at about 07:50 pm near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is also a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. The organiser will be at the club about 5 min. ahead of time and pay for everyone - please bring if possible exact change and pay the organiser after the event! The fee for this event is 6€. It is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! Beachvolleyball 3vs3 and 4v4, 2 courts - We (aim to) play 4vs4, and everyone is on the court ( Not 3 vs3 and 1 Person waits) - We pllay 3 vs 3 on second court. we Reserve the right to adapt on the court Level and requests of Hosts and regular Players in the aim of maintaining good vibes, be inclusive and playfull. Games are social and fun, Not competitive! It is tended for welbeing, mindfulness, less devices, more fresh Air, Outdoor social and IRP conections. - We Play 2 Games in a row in the same Team comppsition (plus a small decisive If Teams want it); after that WE mixed with the Players on the other court. - please be mindful and announce asap if u don't come, you are late or the duration (in case u don't intend to play full time). bring in cash: aprox 8.5 Euros/Person to Cover the courts price. Join us for **two hours** of badminton! This event is open for all levels and ages! It is part of the club Sportunion Vienna Badminton Community. We are playing at USZ Hietzing (Altgasse 6, 1130, close to the U4 station Hietzing). The hall (Große Halle) is on the second floor. The changing room is on the first floor in the long corridor. You can also rent a racket from the venue for 5 € **Price** * 16-19 € for 2 hours depending on number of players * I use the money to cover the costs for the court, balls and rackets. * You can pay via Revolut, PayPal, instant Bank Transfer or Cash. I prefer transfer over cash. **Cancellation** * Please cancel at least 10h before the event, to give people on the wait list the chance to jump in. We are a non-profit organization founded in 1958 with over 800 members. The club has grown beyond the single mission of providing members with not only quality skiing events but also year round social and sport activities. Our gatherings are an opportunity for members and non-members to interact and learn about the many activities offered such as euchre, billiards, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, bowling, golf & softball leagues along with ski and non-ski trips. Our members also plan group activities such as visits to wine tastings, bike trips, comedy clubs, concerts, plays and local sports games, etc. CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group. Membership is required in order to participate in most club activities (CSC member). However, anyone (21 and over) is welcome at our meeting gatherings which consist of checking out our current activities and socializing. The annual dues for club membership are $35 with the membership year from September 1st – August 31st.
