Seniors with 60+ years of life experience who are community leaders, intellectuals, artists, storytellers, and want to share their experience over dinners for a small group each time. Every Wednesday there is dinner hosted by a different Silver (senior host) who will open their front door, welcome a group of 5-8 people into their home, and share their stories, knowledge, and connections across the table over a themed evening. Hi everyone! Thursday is the offical book meeting day, so let's gather and share our reading. As usual, we will meet at the fourth floor of the Central Library as it has good facilities for book clubs and it is also free to use. No extra cafe money to spend. Idea is to meet and connect over books. Each participant present 1-2 books they would like to recommend or just talk about, and then we'll see where conversation leads us. Again, there is no limitation to genre or type of book you are reading. The point is that we are free to read whatever we want and then share those reading experiences, so remember to be respectful to each other. I hope to see as many of you as possible. :)
