¡**EXCURSIÓN EXCEPCIONAL**! El "Granota" es un **tren mítico** de la historia de los Ferrocarriles de Cataluña y debe su nombre al característico color verde de su exterior. Construido en **1944**, circuló durante décadas en las líneas de Sabadell y Terrassa hasta su abandono y olvido a principios de los noventa. Ahora, fruto de un enorme trabajo de **minuciosa restauración**, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat, ha programado unos viajes especiales excepcionales para que se pueda circular de nuevo con este precioso tren. Volveremos a **revivir los viajes en ferrocarril** de hace décadas: el ruido, las ventanillas, el traqueteo, la velocidad y los asientos de antaño. En Descubridores no podemos perdernos esta única ocasión (sólo circulará dos días), y hemos programado **una actividad nostálgica**, divertida y histórica para poder hacer el trayecto entre Les Planes y Terrassa a bordo del Granota. En el recorrido por el castillo, además de acceder a sus torreones y conocer sus salas nobles, podremos ver la antigua Iglesia de Santa Maria, anexa a la fortaleza, y visitar un espacio dedicado a la pitatería que rememora el uso que el castillo tuvo en el siglo XVI como defensa a los ataques de corsarios y berberiscos. Tras la visita, bajaremos por los bonitos jardines del castillo hasta la villa de Castelldefels, y nos acercaremos hasta la playa, en la que, quien lo desee, puede optar por comer en alguno de sus variados restaurantes.
