Az eredmények alapján az acetaldehid DNS-töréseket előidézve okozhat olyan változásokat a testi sejtek génállományában, amelyek hozzájárulnak a tumorok kialakulásához. **Az univerzum két nagy rejtélye: a sötét energia és a Hubble-feszültség** *Raffai Péter – ELTE TTK Atomfizikai Tanszék* A fizikai kozmológia alapvetése, hogy a világegyetem nagy léptékben homogén. Einstein általános relativitáselmélete szerint egy ilyen univerzum tágul, vagyis a kozmikus távolságok -például a galaxisok között- mindenütt azonos ütemben nőnek. A növekedés mai üteme, a Hubble-állandó, a tágulástörténet kulcsparamétere - az univerzum korát is ő árulja el. A legkülönfélébb megfigyelésekhez a Lambda-CDM kozmológiai modell illeszkedik leginkább; eszerint a tágulás mintegy 5 milliárd éve lassulóból gyorsulóba váltott át, egy ismeretlen összetevő, a sötét energia hatására. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways.
