Comedy Factory – English Open Mic @TheComedyPub
Comedy Factory – English Open Mic @TheComedyPub
**Comedy Factory: Vienna’s wild & international English Open Mic. Fresh jokes, new comedians & free entry every Saturday.** ## [GET YOUR TICKETS HERE!!!](https://www.universe.com/events/comedy-factory-english-open-mic-thecomedypub-tickets-46HDTR?ref=MeetUp) 🔥 Saturday nights start with laughter! Welcome to **Comedy Factory**, Vienna’s most international and experimental English Stand-up Comedy Open Mic. Every Saturday at 18:30, The Comedy Pub transforms into a comedy playground where fresh jokes are built, tested, and unleashed. ## Event Description: At **Comedy Factory**, anything can happen. New comedians step on stage for the very first time, while experienced performers bring their sharpest jokes and wildest new ideas. The result? A raw, unpredictable, and unforgettable night of comedy. With **10–12 comedians each week**, you’ll see a mix of bold experiments, risky punchlines, and polished sets. No two shows are ever the same – every Saturday offers a brand-new lineup of voices from Vienna’s thriving international comedy scene. This show is perfect if you’re: * an **Expat or international living in Vienna** looking for English comedy * a **local curious about stand-up culture** from around the world * a **tourist wanting a unique night out** in Vienna * or simply someone who loves to laugh at fresh, unfiltered comedy. ## 🤔 What is an Open Mic? An Open Mic is where comedy is born. Comedians test their newest material, experiment with wild ideas, and interact with the audience in real time. Sometimes the jokes kill, sometimes they bomb – but that’s exactly the fun. As an audience member, you get to witness comedy in its rawest form, up close and personal. ## 🍻 The Comedy Pub – Vienna’s Home of Stand-up The show takes place in **The Comedy Pub** (Kettenbrückengasse 7, 1050 Vienna). Unlike our underground cellar shows, **Comedy Factory happens upstairs in the main pub area** – bright, welcoming, international, and buzzing with energy. Grab a drink, settle in, and enjoy the only dedicated stand-up comedy club in Vienna. Centrally located right by **U4 Kettenbrückengasse station**, it’s the perfect meeting point before heading out into your Saturday night. ## 💡 Free Entry – Donations Welcome Comedy should be for everyone. That’s why entry is free! But if you had a great time (and you will 😉), we invite you to drop a donation in the bucket at the end of the show. It’s the best way to support the comedians who made you laugh. ## 🎟️ Audience Rules To keep the show fun and fair for everyone, we ask for a few simple things: * Be on time – comedy waits for no one. * Respect the stage – no talking during sets. * Laugh loud, clap hard – comedians feed off your energy. * No heckling – it never ends well. * Show love with a donation if you laughed. ## 🎉 Why Saturday? Because weekends deserve a big laugh. **Comedy Factory** is the perfect early-evening start to your Saturday – international, experimental, and guaranteed to surprise you. With a new lineup every week, it’s always fresh, always different, always funny. Start your night with us, then take the laughter out into Vienna. #ComedyFactoryVienna #EnglishComedyVienna #ViennaComedy #StandupVienna #ViennaNightlife #ViennaEvents #ComedyVienna #LiveComedyVienna #EnglishOpenMic #StandupComedyVienna #ViennaExpats #ExpatsInVienna #ComedyShowVienna #ViennaLaughs #FunnyInVienna #ComedyClubVienna #ViennaWeekend #SaturdayNightVienna #ViennaFun #ViennaThingsToDo #ComedyLifeVienna #ComedyCommunityVienna #ViennaTourists #InternationalComedy #WildComedyVienna #ExperimentalComedy #ViennaStage #ViennaCulture #ViennaNightOut #LaughsInVienna #ComedyHotspotVienna #ViennaStandupScene #ViennaLaughing #ComedyPubVienna #ViennaSaturday #ViennaLOL #ComedyAddictsVienna #ViennaGiggles #ComedyUndergroundVienna #ViennaHahaha
Run+B-fast
Run+B-fast
Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast! Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45. We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier. Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup. Important disclaimer: Please only run as much as you feel you can, considering the temperature, weather conditions, your own fitness etc... run and walk at your own pace as the organizers do not assume any liability for any injuries or health issues. Sonia, Adrian, Ali, Paul and Liz

**Women’s Circle \| Forgiveness & Self\-Healing** **Sunday\, 15\.03\. \| 12:00–14:00** Join us this Sunday for a small and intimate **women\*** circle centered around the theme of **forgiveness** — towards ourselves, someone else, the past, or any experience life has brought to us. Our women\* circles offer a supportive and intentional space to slow down, connect more deeply, and share what is present within us. Each gathering is centered around a preselected topic, which we explore through conversation, reflection, and gentle body- and breath-based practices. You do not need any prior experience — only a willingness to arrive as you are. We will begin with a cup of tea together, take some time to land, warm up, and gently arrive in the space. Each circle is limited to a maximum of six women, so that everyone has space to speak, listen, and be heard. This circle welcomes all who identify, or wish to identify, in any way with the term **woman** or **FLINTA**. **Important:** We will be sitting on the floor on a Japanese-style mat. Some cushions will be available, but please bring your own pillow and/or blanket if you would like extra comfort. If sitting on the floor does not feel right for you, chairs and a sofa are also available :) Please try to arrive on time so that we can start and finish together.

Come write with us at Cafe Pierre every Sunday at 18:00-20:00! A message from Shut Up & Write: "Shut Up & Write hosts free, in-person and online writing events for writers all over the world. Our goal is to ensure that every writer—regardless of genre or skill level—has access to the resources, community, and accountability that they need to be successful in their personal writing goals." And what this looks like at our event: We chat and give short introductions to what we are working on at 18:00, then start writing at 18:15. Though we try to start on dot, being late isn't a problem—just find a spot and get to work! We write until 20:00 and then discuss how our writing went. From fiction to non-fiction, academic papers to poetry, applications to work-related writing—anything goes! Nothing is needed except for you to bring whatever is need to get stuff done, i.e. laptop, headphones, pen and paper, and so on. Optional socialising may happen before 18:00 and after 20:00, or you may choose to use this time to get some more done! Please do order something from the café (drink, meal, dessert, etc.) so as to keep us in their good graces!
Hainburg: Stories Along the Trail
Hainburg: Stories Along the Trail
Hi everyone! On **Saturday, March 14**, 2026, I am planning a beautiful early-spring hike. This hike combines scenic landscapes, gentle walking, and many layers of European history in one surprisingly rich area. Our route will take us across Braunsberg, past Hainburg Castle, and through parts of the Hundsheimer Berge. As we walk, history appears naturally along the trail: remains of Celtic settlements (including reconstructed sections of a wooden palisade and watchtower), traces of Roman routes, the medieval town walls of Hainburg, and even landscapes that once formed part of the Cold War border. **What makes this hike special** 🌄 Wide panoramic views over the **Danube**, the **Marchfeld plains**, and toward **Bratislava** 🏺 Traces of everyday life in ancient times, from Celtic earthworks to Roman routes 🏰 Atmospheric **medieval walls, gates, and castle ruins** in Hainburg an der Donau 🌍 A peaceful landscape that once marked a **Cold War border**, now open and welcoming ⛰️ **Arche Noah Half-Cave** – a small rock shelter typical of the karst landscape of Braunsberg We will explore all of this at a **relaxed pace**, with time to enjoy the views, conversations, and quiet moments in nature. **Meeting Point & Travel** We will meet at **Wien-Praterstern station at 07:45am** near the ticket machines. Please arrive a little early so we have enough time to organize the group tickets. If you join the Einfach-raus-**group ticket**, please note: * The ticket requires us to **travel together on both the outbound and return journey** * If you would like more flexibility (for example leaving earlier or later), or if you arrive too late at the meeting point please **buy your own VOR Freizeit-ticket instead** The train leaves 08:15am from Wien-Praterstern and we should arrive in Hainburg by 09:26am. Trains back to Vienna run every hour and we would aim for the train back to Vienna leaving Hainburg at 17:06. **Hike Details** Duration: approx. **6 hours** (pure walking time) Distance: approx. **16.6 km** Elevation: **750 m up / 749 m down** Difficulty: **Technically easy**, but **basic fitness required** More information about the trail: [https://www.bergwelten.com/t/w/9343](https://www.bergwelten.com/t/w/9343) **Group Pace & Staying Togehter** Friendly reminder: This is a social hike, not a speed competition. We will walk at a comfortable group pace and take short breaks when needed. If you prefer to walk much faster, this may not be the right hike for you. Staying roughly together helps with navigation, safety, and group feeling. Thank you for helping create a friendly and supportive atmosphere for everyone. **Practical notes** I will send a weather update on Thursday evening to everyone who is registered. Mid-March can feel like spring — or like winter returning for one last surprise. **Please bring:** * Sturdy hiking shoes * Layered clothing * At least 1 liter of water * Your own snacks (no restaurant stop is planned) Some sections might be muddy depending on the weather. **Disclaimer** As always, this is a free private leisure activity. I am not a certified hiking guide, and participation is at your own responsibility and risk. Looking forward to seeing you on the trail! Jörg **Information regarding the ticket options** **The "Einfach-raus" Group Ticket** We will use a group ticket and it requires some coordination: * **How it works:** It is one ticket for a group of 2–5 people. We will form these groups who then have to travel together both directions at the meeting point at **07:45 - please be on time if you want to participate**. **You must travel together for both the departure and the return journey.** You cannot split off and take a different train home if you are on a group ticket. * **The Cost:** The more people in a group, the cheaper it gets. Expect to pay between €**10 and €19** per person. To be fair, we can either pay by specific group size or pool all money and split it equally. * **Cash is Mandatory:** Please bring **physical cash and coins**. We need to collect the money before buying the tickets to make sure everyone gets their change back quickly. Information regarding this ticket: [https://www.oebb.at/en/tickets-kundenkarten/freizeit-urlaub/einfach-raus-ticket](https://www.oebb.at/en/tickets-kundenkarten/freizeit-urlaub/einfach-raus-ticket) If you prefer not to be tied to a group, or if you aren't sure when you want to head back to Vienna, do not join the group ticket. Instead, buy the VOR Freizeitticket, it costs €19,90 for the day in lower Austria. This will also be your option to still join if you arrive too late for the group ticket. Information regarding this ticket: [https://www.vor.at/en/tickets/ticket-overview/leisure-ticket](https://www.vor.at/en/tickets/ticket-overview/leisure-ticket)
