Cycle to Glendalough over the Sally gap
Distance: â90 km
Climbing: \~1,350.
A proper Wicklow day out!âtoday we cycle the high country over the Sally gap and the Glenmacnass valley.
We roll out from the city at 845am and head up to Glencree and onto the Military Road, then crossing the exposed beauty of the **Sally Gap.**
From there, itâs a rewarding run down the stunning **Glenmacnass valley** to the **Glendalough Cafe**.
We then head back over undulating hills to Eniskerry and then on to Dublin.
Expect long, steady climbs; youâll need a reasonable level of fitnessâthis is a 90 km spin with serious elevation. The reward is some of Ireland's best cycling scenery and **quiet roads** once we leave the suburbs behind.
Bring: Good legs, plenty of snacks, and layersâthe Gap can be exposed.
A tough but very rewarding spinâperfect if youâre looking to stretch yourself a bit and enjoy the Wicklow Mountains at their best.
Please wear a helmet and bring a tube, etc., in case you get a puncture.

Heels Dance Class for Women
It's time to spicy it up, put on some heels, wear something that makes you feel good in it, and join us this Saturday morning for a self-love experience through dance, designed to help you feel confident, sensual, and fully alive. đđ˝â¨
This is a recurrent class happening in a lovely dance studio, filled with incredible females. We often stay for lunch together at a cafĂŠ of our choice, because community is part of the experience.
We'll be working with the song Orion's Belt by Sabrina Claudio.
In the sessions, we usually explore:
⢠Hand and arm work
⢠Combinations focused on flow and expression
⢠Grounded hip movement and natural body isolation
⢠Confidence through dynamic footwork
⢠Your authentic, inner energy. This will arise naturally as you move without holding back
This class is open to **all levels**. Most students have no or little experience with dance. Choreographies are just a means of self-expression. Whether you already dance or you simply want to feel your body again, this space is for you.
Expect warmth, laughter, a little challenge and a lot of energy. Letâs move, sweat and awaken our vital force together â¤ď¸âđĽ
**Location:** The Liffey Trust Studios, Studio 5
**When:** Saturdays
**Time:** 11:00
To reserve your spot, please join this event and complete the payment via the platform or via revolut:

Killakee Viewpoint âłď¸
Join us for this Thursday evening cycle on the southside of the city up to the Killakee viewpoint and back. Itâs a decent climb and offers some great views over the city.
đ¨Warning: this cycle has a steep/long climb.
đ´ Back and front lights on your bike are essential for this cycle.
The total distance is 25km, and so not far but it has 350m of climbing taken on all at once. For perspective, 350m is about twice the amount of climbing as the Thursday Howth cycle. If you are unsure of your ability to do this, I recommend trying the Thursday Howth Cycle first. We do not go fast up the climb, we go as slow as needed.
Here is our plan for the evening:
1ď¸âŁWe leave at 6:30PM from Swan Leisure
2ď¸âŁWe cycle south through Rathfarham and climb up to Killakee via Stocking Lane
3ď¸âŁIf time allows, we'll make a stop at The Merry Ploughboy pub for a break and refreshment before heading back to the start.
