Seeing the Subject & Controlling the Image **Extended Photography Workshop** Date: Friday 15th of May Start: 17:00 Duration: approx. 4 hours ***Important, get in touch for a prepayment to secure your spot*** This workshop is created for early-stage photographers and people who are just starting out. I have designed it as a kickstart to your photography journey, helping you build solid foundations early on so you don’t hit a creative plateau after learning only classic rules of photography. The workshop is beginner-friendly and assumes no deep technical knowledge. At the same time starting with basics, we will be building foundation that will help you become even better than some of the professionals. We’ll start with the fundamentals of exposure and camera control, then move into composition and subject-focused photography. The goal is not just to know *how* to set your camera, but to understand why you make certain choices and how they support the image. Many beginners shoot from where they stand, reacting to scenes instead of observing them. This workshop helps you slow down, move with intention, and decide what the photograph is actually about before pressing the shutter. *** ##### What this workshop focuses on * Camera basics & exposure How your camera sensor works, what exposure really is, and how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO affect the image. This is our weekly event! Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:55 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will find a place for you. Don't worry, we are an open and friendly group.
