This meetup emerged from Tim, one of the organizers, who had several disappointing experiences at in-person mixer events. Determined to make a difference, he, along with another community builder Adeline, decided to launch "How We Met." After receiving several DMs, we concluded that since this is our inaugural gathering, we should open the event to everyone and foster an inclusive community while sharing our story with you. **What’s different?** There won’t be a prize at the end, and instead of enforcing a strict 1:1 ratio, we’re turning this into a networking/mixer event. As a new yoga teacher (200 YTT certified), I’m excited to share the practice of stretching and Hatha Yoga with others, guiding you through mindful breath and purposeful movement. We’ll explore foundational poses, gentle alignment, and slow, steady stretches that honor your body's limits while inviting greater flexibility and balance. My intention is to create a supportive space where we practice together, learn from each other, and cultivate calm, focus, and presence both on and off the mat. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after a pause, we’ll move at a comfortable pace, listen to our bodies, and celebrate small progress as we grow. FitFam is a welcoming community for fitness enthusiasts, including yoga lovers, to connect and make new friends, regardless of background or language. The event is free. All you need to do is * Bring your own yoga mat * small towel to assist with stretching * wear comfortable outfit We’ll meet at the wood deck by the waterfront of Tamar Park. Tuesday night life drawing sessions at senseless Art Studio in Hong Kong have been organised for many years in different locations. As an open workshop, everyone is welcome, from beginners (there are many) to seasoned artists. Everyone is very respectful and willing to share. Time: 7.30 – 9.30pm, every Tuesday night; Venue: senselessart Studio Portland street. Self-teaching class: drawing starts at 7:30PM and ends around 9:45PM (sometimes a bit later). Come early if you want to get a good spot (especially if you'd like to be drawing on a table). Doors open at 7:00pm. We usually overstay to discuss the drawings and exchange impressions and advice. Working with male and female models, short poses mostly (2 to 20 minutes). Starting with short warm up poses and finishing on longer poses. (Please do not ask if the model will be male or female in advance, models change every week and if the model gender makes a difference to your participation then this probably isn't the drawing session you are looking for).
