Many hold the belief that work, as appearing around us in advanced economies, compromises freedom. But this claim raises a number of theoretical difficulties and puzzles. This talk surveys the different articulations of this freedom problem that the philosophical literature has offered, and argues that they are all unsatisfactory — for either analytic shortcomings or empirical inaccuracies. But this doesn’t entail that this intuition is mistaken. I present an alternative formulation — an argument from conformity pressures. I suggest that the structure of work in advanced economies is inconsistent with our freedom intuitions because market environments, in an overlooked manner, attempt to maximize the diversion of people from their own plans and projects. This new diagnosis also implies new remedies; I conclude by offering four modest “imaginaries” for enhanced individual autonomy inside a market-centred world of work. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is held every first Wednesday of the Month at 7:00PM. The devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary are two significant expressions of Catholic spirituality, focusing on the love and mercy of Jesus and the compassion and purity of Mary. The devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus emphasizes Christ's immense love for humanity, as symbolized by His heart. This devotion is rooted in Scripture, where Jesus invites believers to learn from His heart, which is "meek and humble" (Matthew 11:29). It became more formalized in the seventeenth century through the visions of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a French nun. In these visions, Jesus revealed His heart as a source of divine love, wounded by sin but overflowing with mercy. The Immaculate Heart of Mary devotion focuses on the interior life of Mary, her virtues, and her deep love for God and humanity. It is particularly tied to her maternal compassion and sorrow for the sins of the world. This devotion became widely recognized after the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917, where she asked for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart and for the faithful to offer prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners.

And we will continue discussing the Hot topic of our age an AI. We’ve spent the last few sessions learning how to *talk* to AI. We’ve mastered prompt engineering and "vibecoding" to build things faster. Now, it’s time for the next leap: **letting AI work for us while we sleep.** In this session, we are moving beyond simple chatbots to explore **Autonomous AI Agents.** Unlike standard tools that wait for you to type a command, Agents are designed to perceive a goal, plan a series of tasks, and execute them independently within your WordPress site. We will discuss **Generative vs. Agentic AI:** Understanding the shift from *"Write me a blog post"* to *"Monitor local Knoxville news and draft a weekly summary every Friday."* I am sure many of you have seen WordPress ads offering different Agentic tools like **Uncanny Automator**, **AI Engine**, or **n8n**. What do these tools do? How successful they are? And how implementable all these agents are for your current WordPress site? I will gather some info and make research. We will show a variety of methods for building agents that run in Microsoft Foundry. This covers the different types of agents: Prompt, Multi, and Hosted, as well as the development lifecycle using evals and traces.

Window functions have nothing to do with the Windows operating system but provide a “window” to a result set when used in SQL queries. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems: * Using running totals * Performing operations in intervals * Identifying data gaps and islands * Performing aggregates without losing detail Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them. Demonstrations with several examples will solidify how window functions can simplify queries and make them more powerful.
