Hola a tod@s, Continuamos con nuestras charlas mensuales en el café La Opera. **ESTÁ SERÁ LA ÚLTIMA CHARLA HASTA EL MES DE FEBRERO YA QUE EL MES DE ENERO ESTARÉ FUERA** En esta ocasión yo mismo realizaré la charla. Para los que no me conocéis soy Doctor en historia contemporánea por la UB y fundador de este grupo de meet up. En esta ocasión indagaremos en el **Sexenio Democrático (1868-1874)**, un periodo fascinante y poco conocido en el que España intentó construir, por primera vez, una auténtica democracia. Con la Revolución Gloriosa de 1868, impulsada por el hartazgo ante la corrupción y los negocios privados de la reina Isabel II, cae la monarquía en España. El país aplicará entonces reformas inéditas: una constitución avanzada, el sufragio universal masculino y un sistema plural de partidos. Pero el proyecto se tambaleará pronto: En esta charla indagaremos en el misterioso asesinato de **Prim**, artífice del nuevo régimen, para tratar de saber quién o quiénes lo asesinaron y sobre todo por qué; Analizaremos el breve y difícil reinado de **Amadeo de Saboya,** el primer monarca democrático de España, cuya abdicación llevará a España por primera vez a proclamar una **I República española,** un intento audaz y tormentoso de modernizar el país, mucho más desconocido que el de la II República. Un relato de **revolución, ambición, ideales y conspiraciones**, que nos adentrará en cómo nació el primer experimento democrático de España…y por qué terminó estrellándose. La reconciliación no se fuerza ni se negocia; acontece cuando algo interno se ordena y se aquieta. A través del trabajo con constelaciones familiares, abrimos la posibilidad de soltar luchas internas, polaridades y lealtades invisibles que nos mantienen atrapados en viejas historias. Reconciliarse implica abandonar la necesidad de tener razón y permitir que emerja una mirada más humilde y abarcadora, donde cada destino pueda ser reconocido tal como fue. En este espacio, nos acercamos a la comprensión de que incluso aquello que dolió tuvo un lugar dentro del sistema, y que lo excluido continúa influyendo hasta que es visto e incluido. La reconciliación trae alivio porque restituye el orden natural del amor y devuelve a cada quien su lugar. 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿 Podrás participar de dos maneras: * **Constelando tu propio tema personal.** * **Participando como representante.** En ambos casos, el campo trabaja para todos, y por eso el valor del taller es el mismo tanto para quien constela como para quien participa representando. Cada constelación que se da en el taller es para todos los presentes. Siempre resuena en el alma de cada participante, porque nunca es casualidad que justo seamos esas personas las que nos reunimos en ese día y en ese espacio. La temática que propone una persona toca también al sistema de los demás, y cada representación es para todos los presentes. Cuando representas a alguien dentro de la constelación de otro, ese papel siempre guarda relación con tu propia historia personal o con la de tu sistema familiar. Nos encontramos en el CCCB para asistir a la última sesión del año de *Poetry Slam Barcelona*: un torneo local de poesía escenificada que, en conjunto, toma la forma de una “performance colectiva” en la que la palabra es el elemento esencial. El *Poetry Slam* es 50% poesía y 50% interpretación, una competición con un formato participativo en el que se establece una relación dinámica entre el público y los poetas... algo esto sin embargo que, aunque pueda parecer novedoso, remite, en realidad, a los certámenes de poesía que se hacían en la antigua Grecia. Hi and welcome to our next Socrates Café philosophy meetup! Do you have a hunger for a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you? Do you value deep, honest and respectful dialogue? If yes, then you will enjoy this event. We ask, answer and discuss questions and ideas to stimulate critical thinking and to widen our perspectives with new concepts and thoughts. The main purpose of these meetups is to enrich ourselves with the perspectives of others, not to convince others about our own perspectives. Our meetups are about our own philosophies of life and not necessarily what the great philosophers and academics have said or written. It is not a debating club or a platform for proselytizing. Instead, we place the emphasis on questioning, open mindedness and challenging our own assumptions while listening to and respecting the views shared by others. A Socrates Café meetup is considered a success when participants leave a discussion with many more questions than they had at the beginning. WHAT TOPICS ARE DISCUSSED AT THE MEETUP? Participants suggest topics at the beginning of each meeting. We then vote and choose that event's most popular topic for discussion. No academic training in philosophy necessary; just enthusiasm for exchanging ideas and points of view. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. (I’ll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times. First Sundays are free admission at Franklin Park Conservatory. Sunday, January 4th, is also the last day The Palm House will be open before renovations begin. Let’s meet, enjoy a respite from January weather, and wander the gardens. Free neanthe bella palms are available to guests, beginning at 10am, while supplies last. Afterwards, we can visit the nearby East Market (212 Kelton Avenue).

Private Group. Closed to the Public Knowing ourselves and understanding our abilities is the first step toward wielding our gifts with control and accuracy. In subsequent classes we will verify and hone our talents with activities and discussion. These are hands-on workshops and participation is expected. The goal of our series will be to develop expertise in areas of particular interest such as mediumship, channeling, divination, healing and, etc..
