Come along, grab a coffee, shut up, and write! We will do at least two sessions of each 45 minutes of writing and two breaks. We will start the first writing session at 10:15.
For space reasons, we are limited to a certain number of attendees, so please update your RSVP if you can't come. We are typically by the large windows facing the U-Bahn entrance.
If you are new, come and say hello, as we know that suddenly going quiet for 45 minutes and staring at that blank page can be intimidating when it's your first time. We have a lot of long-term regulars who will be happy to help you feel welcome.
In between sessions, we have a Telegram chat: https://t.me/joinchat/ERW3pxD5kfELGeWs9SUhjw

EP Writers Club
**What is EP Writers Club?**
EP Writers Club is a gathering for **people who write** and want to discuss what they have written.
Whether you've written essays, articles, newsletters, blog posts, research papers, book chapters, long-form articles, research notes, books in progress, or works in progress, this is a space to talk about your work and the thinking behind it.
**Why Does it Exist ?**
Many people write in isolation. They research alone, think alone, and publish alone. They rarely get the opportunity to discuss what they have written with other people who are actively writing.
**The goal :** bring something you've written and let's discuss it.
This is a space for you to talk about what you have written, what inspired the piece, what questions you are trying to answer, what you have discovered so far, and where your thinking is leading you.
The piece does not need to be finished. Rough drafts, research notes, unfinished essays, book projects, and works in progress are all welcome.
**Who is it for ?**
If you are a writer working on fiction or non-fiction about science, technology, history, archaeology, philosophy, culture, society, business, or any other subject, you are encouraged to attend and bring your work to discuss with the group.
If you prefer, you can also bring a few printed pages of your work to share with others.
At the moment, the focus of the Writers Club is fiction and non-fiction writing, essays, articles, research, and books rather than poetry or spoken-word formats.
**What Happens During the Event?**
Participants are encouraged to share excerpts from their work, talk about their research process, discuss their writing process, explain the questions they are exploring, and invite discussion from other writers in the room.
This is not a writing workshop. We won't be editing each other's work, reviewing grammar, discussing publishing strategies, or sitting quietly writing on the spot.
**Participation :**
The only requirement is that you have written something and are willing to discuss it.
**No pitching. No passive attendance.**
This gathering is for people who are actively writing.
In the future, we may open the event to a larger audience interested in listening and observing the discussions.
I WRITE – A Silent Writing Club (Just You & Your Words)
Welcome to **I WRITE**, a gentle space for anyone who wants to write—quietly, freely, and without judgement.
We are a Berlin community of writers who gather together weekly to write, talk and recharge after a long week. Some of us journal, some write novels, some do academic writing, many people come without a project in mind and see where the inspiration flow takes them. * 🚌 M45 Bus **U Richard-Wagner-Platz**
**About me:**
Hi, my name is Anastasia. I started this writing club back in May 2025. Since then, it has been hosted weekly at the Heinrich Schulz Library (who is kind enough to allow us to use this room for free). Over this time, I’ve been privileged to meet some of the most creative and kind minds in Berlin. And I would be happy if you joined us. Whether you're an experienced writer or just at the beginning of your journey, you're welcome. If you know how to hold a pen or how to type, there will always be a space for you.

SU&W In-person Mitte
Come along, grab a coffee, shut up, and write! We will do at least two sessions of each 45 minutes of writing and two breaks. We will start the first writing session at 11:15.
**For space reasons, we are limited to a certain number of attendees, so please update your RSVP if you can't come**. We often have a large waiting list, and not updating your RSVP or not showing up if you do RSVP yes means that others miss out. We also ask that if you do change your RSVP, do it with reasonable notice. Thanks! We typically take over all of the cafe, but try to share tables if you can to allow space for other customers.
If you are new, come and say hello, as we know that suddenly going quiet for 45 minutes and staring at that blank page can be intimidating when it's your first time. We have a lot of long-term regulars who will be happy to help you feel welcome.

• What we'll do

See you at The Café on Saturday!
Shut Up & Write! Kingsdale Shopping Center
Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington.
The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo.
Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine.
We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you.
The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly.
Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome.
The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit.
Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times.
Feel free to message me privately wth any questions and/ or concerns you may have.
Happy writing!
