Welcome to our Austrian-Libertarian Meetup! Here, individuals from diverse backgrounds gather to explore and celebrate the core principles of individual liberty and free markets. Whether you're a seasoned libertarian or simply curious about the philosophy, this meetup provides a vibrant space for open discussions, sharing ideas, and networking with like-minded people. Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking experience where freedom and individualism are at the forefront of every conversation! * If 7pm is too early for you, please drop by later in the evening. We are normally around until after 11pm. * There is no agenda. Feel free to move around to find a conversation that matches your interests. * The venue is a food hall with multiple vendors selling different foods and drinks, including alcohol * Bills are individual, so there's no confusion and you can settle up and leave whenever you like. * Free parking just outside * There's no dress code. Some people come in shorts, we've had a few arrive in suits. * Happy hour until 7pm. The early bird catches the cheap beer. P.S. Austrian economics is a particular school of economics, it is not a reference to the language or country. While many of our members are familiar with the Austrian school, you don't need to be an economist to attend. All free-thinking, libertarian-minded people are welcome.

Puzzle Fun - FREE
Puzzle Fun - FREE
**Puzzle Fun** 🧩➗ A relaxed and fun gathering for anyone who enjoys puzzles, mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and curious conversations. The goal of this event is not just to solve problems, but to encourage the kind of thinking that creates independent mathematicians and deep problem-solvers. The event is divided into two parts: • Segment One: Puzzle & Problem-Solving Round We’ll warm up with fun high-school-level maths problems, logic puzzles, Sudoku-style thinking, and other mathematical challenges. Feel free to bring your own puzzles, books, or favourite problems to share with the group! A scientific calculator may occasionally be useful. • Segment Two (Optional): Logic & Proof-Writing If enough brave souls are interested, we’ll explore the strange and beautiful world of mathematical logic and proof-writing — the foundation of higher mathematics. If not, we’ll simply continue solving more puzzles and interesting problems together. An online group will also be created for discussions, resources, and keeping track of what we cover, since mathematics is a subject that builds continuously over time. Please bring: ✏️ Pens 📒 A notebook or plenty of A4 paper 🧠 Curiosity WhatsApp group: [https://chat.whatsapp.com/FytQQgS85I61vS6nkduLm5](https://chat.whatsapp.com/FytQQgS85I61vS6nkduLm5)

No specific book has been chosen, this session is all about getting to know each other, sharing ideas, and shaping the direction of the club together. We’ll talk about: * What kind of business, leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal growth books members are interested in * How the club will be coordinated going forward * What everyone hopes to gain from the discussions * Books we’ve already read and would recommend to others * Possible themes and book choices for future meetups Whether you enjoy biographies, leadership lessons, startup stories, strategy books, or practical business reads, this is a chance to help build a thoughtful and engaging business book community from the start. Come ready to share what you’ve been reading, what inspires you, and what you’d like this club to become.

Shut Up & Write! Kingsdale Shopping Center
Shut Up & Write! Kingsdale Shopping Center
Greetings writers! Come down and join your fellow wordsmiths for one hour of uninterrupted writing time in the upper level of the Market District Supermarket in Upper Arlington. The main entrance of the shopping center opens onto stairs/elevator leading up to the 2nd floor cafe section where we will have a table displaying a sign with the Shut Up & Write logo. Writing is largely a solitary craft. Practicing with others in a community setting may be the thing you need to fire your own routine. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, starting the clock at 6:30, following a brief period of introductions. This is solid writing time and all inclusive. Any project is acceptable, be it fiction, non -fiction, work or homework assignment. All is welcome and will remain private to you. The market boasts a Starbucks, a full service bar and various affordable food options. Parking is plentiful, free Wifi is provided as well as outlets for charging your devices, though they are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly. Show up as early as you like, or stay late. This group tends to socialize some, both before and after the alloted time, but this is not mandatory to you. Feel free to come and go as you please and late arrivals are welcome. The cafe may be noisy on occasion so headphones/ earbuds are reccommended as you see fit. Please try to RSVP if possible so that we may grab enough seats for all—the venue can be busy at times. Feel free to message me privately wth any questions and/ or concerns you may have. Happy writing!
