We meet and chat about it, as a starting point of conversation. Please feel free to bring books :)

Hello all, 2026 has been a funny one so far and I'm a bit later than planned scheduling this next event, so my apologies! But in a chaotic world there is no better place than a circle of women creating and connecting so I hope to meet some of you on the 26th of March :) This is a bring your own craft group so whether you're a seasoned crafter or learning something new bring whatever you're working on and join us for a chat. Let's improve our self-awareness, by getting into the habit of writing our thoughts and emotions. & Let's enhance our curiosity and compassion in others, by giving others and ourselves an insight into the unknown lives of strangers. Join us for our 1.5 hours writing event. We will have some exercises prepared that give us the opportunity to write and share about our thoughts/emotions/experiences and use a variety of prompts. HOMEWORK: Before the event, we ask participants to reflect and write +/- 10 minutes about a time they felt proud of something or someone. Participants can choose which parts of their writing they feel comfortable sharing. **FEE:** €5 to support the group. Please pay the organiser at the event. We accept cash/revolut/paypal. **NOTE 1:** No writing experience is required to attend this event. Only a curiosity in ourselves and others. **NOTE 2:** Please provide your own notebook/paper and pen.

**Code Apps**: Leveraging AI to build code-first custom web apps that live natively within the Power Platform **Malachy Keaveny:** Malachy is a D365 Senior Technical Consultant at Codec, where he leads a team of consultants on large scale Power Platform implementations. **Microsoft Fabric:** From ingest-to-insight: End-to-end data engineering, including AI-assisted Power BI reporting. **Sara Boukob:** Sara is a senior Data Engineer at Codec, currently leading the delivery of a data and analytics platform through an Azure Landing Zone and Microsoft Fabric

For our first month, we’ll be reading The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst 🌿✨ We’ll meet every two weeks to chat about whatever we’ve read so far, share favourite moments, and ease into the story at our own pace. There’s no pressure to be at a certain point — just come along for a coffee ☕ and enjoy the conversation.

Join the group for coffee, a chat and bring your project upstairs in Starbucks on Westmoreland Street from 12-2.30pm (or sometimes longer!). There is a lift for those with mobility issues but please check with staff if it's working. There's no charge for the meetup but we ask please that you join our Whatsapp group if you plan on staying with the group. Cost is only €5 a year to pay for Meetup subs etc.

This group is all about hosting a monthly in-person book club right here in Dublin City! If you're into the book we're reading and want to chat about it with others, this is the perfect spot for you. We'll meet at The Capital One Café, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator. Join us on Saturday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 10AM on Saturday mornings. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 10:00 - SESSION 1: quick intros. 10:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 11:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 11A-11:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. (I’ll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
