Event Description

This event aims to bring together people interested in Japanese and English to exchange languages and build a new community.

Participation Requirements

• You must answer the two questions in the registration form.

• In the "purpose of joining" field, you must list "to learn Japanese" as your first reason (you may add other reasons afterward).

• You may use a translation app as support, but you must be able to speak short phrases or basic sentences on your own without relying entirely on It.

• You must be able to continue a conversation in Japanese for 30 minutes without long periods of silence.

• If the organizer determines that you do not meet these requirements, your registration will be canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Payment & Waiting List Policy

• Once you are moved from the waiting list to the participant list, please send $5 via e-Transfer within 2 days to:

(Your registration will be finalized after payment is confirmed.)

Please note that moving from the waiting list depends on factors such as your overall English-Japanese level balance and past event participation.

Therefore, it may take some time before your status changes from waiting to confirmed participant.

Community Rules (Important)
Due to past issues, please note that anyone engaging in behavior such as solicitation, dating purposes, or personal promotion inviting participants to other events, or any unrelated recruiting may be asked to leave immediately, even during the event.

This policy is in place to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
Seating on the Day

• Japanese participants will be seated according to their preferred format (1-on-1 or 2-on-2).

• English-speaking participants will be seated to match those preferences.

• Please note that this means one format may have more participants than the other.
