(For English speaker) Toronto🇯🇵&🇨🇦 Language exchange

We will have a Japanese-English language exchange party in Toronto!
💰 This time, it costs $11 total
($5 participation + $6 for your partner’s drink).

📍 Location: 10DEAN
🎯 Purpose: To bring together people who are interested in Japanese and English, exchange languages, and create a friendly, new community.
If you’re learning Japanese or English, you’re very welcome to join!

🌟 This time is a bit special!

We’re testing a slightly different format this time, so here are a few key changes:

1. Instead of our usual 2-on-2 format, we’ll use a 1-on-1 pairing system.
2. Your partner will be selected based on your Japanese level, to make the conversation more balanced.
3. You can submit topics or goals you’d like to practice in advance, and we’ll try to reflect that in the session. Please understand that if a submitted topic is too complex or too niche, we may ask you to choose something else
4. An additional $6 will be used to cover your Japanese partner’s drink, so you can focus on having a relaxed conversation together.

📝 The time, place, and Japanese/English speaking balance will remain the same as usual.
This is a trial version of a new format whether we continue with it depends on how this one goes!
