Join us in advancing the critical field of AI Control through collaborative innovation!

As AI systems become more capable and autonomous, ensuring robust control mechanisms become increasingly critical. This hackathon, co-organized by Apart Research, Redwood Research, and the UK AI Safety Institute, allows participants to apply theoretical concepts to real-world control challenges.

We'll be hosting a local jamsite for this Hackathon organised by Apart Research for those who are based in Toronto.

Venue
We have a dedicated private office at the Industrious coworking space on Adelaide St where you can join others working on the Hackathon in person. You'll have access to WiFi, power, drinks and bathrooms. There are plenty of great food options in walking distance.

Also, join the Apart Research Discord to start finding teammates and getting feedback on your ideas!

It's important that you register before the Hackathon weekend so you can form teams and get feedback on ideas in the week before, to maximise the time you spend working on your project on the weekend!

Event Schedule
Mar 24th - Mar 28th: Remote online, register for the Hackathon on the Apart Hackathon page, join the Discord. Form teams and brainstorm ideas with others.

Saturday Mar 29th 10am+: Join us in person at the coworking space to work on your idea!
Sunday Mar 30th evening: Submit your project.

The coworking space will be available all weekend.
