Meetup location: Subway users @ 1:00pm
We will meet inside Broadview Subway Station at the 100A Flemingdon Park bus Platform. Look for a Meetup sign when you're there.

Be at the JCCC from 1:30-1:45 pm and wait for us at the main entrance.

Event Info :
The doors will open to everyone to celebrate a weekend filled with activities, entertainment and exhibits at Spring Festival 2023!!

Spring Festival will also include Japanese arts and crafts demonstrations such as Ikebana (flower arranging), Bunka Shishu (embroidery), Origami (paperfolding) and Sumi-e (brush painting). They offers classes in all of these areas and you can sign up for our programmes. Martial artists will demonstrate the techniques of (The Way of the Warrior) through Aikido, Judo, Karate, Iaido, Naginata, and Kendo.

For entertainment, there will be odori (traditional Japanese dancing) by traditional dance groups Ayame-Kai, Sakura-Kai, Himawari Buyokai, as well as musical performances on Taiko (Japanese drumming), koto and shamisen. As always the JCCC and Kobayashi Hall will be colourfully and elaborately decorated to welcome the spring and the long-awaited close of the winter season. Festival guests entering the Centre will be greeted by an elaborate display of Hina Matsuri Dolls.

Adults $7.00+

Group Dinner:
We'll go for sushi after the event @ Hosu.

Meetup fee $1.00:
There will be a Meetup fee of $1.00 to help me pay for this group. Pay in person.
