Every FOUR years, the 14 members 'disband', and a new group of 14 members is put together. A new cohort!
Which also means 14 new instruments to learn about!
The new cohort will dig into European Medieval, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East, and Central Asian musical traditions, and will feature unique instrumentation ranging from guzheng, Hardanger fiddle, lutes, hurdy gurdy, qanun and microtonal guitar; bringing a whole new sound to the project.
The Aga Khan Museum concert venue is one of our top 3 spots in Toronto--for live music.
Tickets have just gone 'on sale'. I've purchased a ticket in Row F.
Prices are: $50 regular. $37.50 for Senior.
