I'm leaving Meetup but...

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to let you know that I will be leaving Meetup as the cost is just too high.

I will still be hosting trips but through the Wilderness Canoe Association.

I've been paddling with them the last four weekends and it is a great organization with a large membership.

They run many trips, long and short throughout the year. In the spring there are a lot of River and whitewater trips for all skill levels but also flat water, hiking and winter events.

There is also a partner match for those who don't have a canoe or want to carpool etc.

Membership is only $45 a year but anyone can browse the outings page and get a membership when you see a trip you like. Members are able to bring one guest twice a year but of course if the trip is full members get a priority.
