Canada Day Hike to Eat
Details
A full-day social hiking experience combining Toronto waterfront trails, Indian food tastings, beach vibes, and a sunset dinner finish.
This is not a speed hike.
This is a “walk, eat, explore, laugh, and survive together” kind of day.

Ending Location: Woodbine Beach + optional dinner nearby

🥘 FOOD + HIKE ROUTE
Stop 1 — Chai Culture

We’ll start the day with chai, snacks, introductions, and good energy before beginning the hike.

Stop 2 — Udupi Palace

South Indian vegetarian tasting stop.
Suggested tasting:

Stop 3 — Moti Mahal

Classic Indian restaurant and sweets stop.
Suggested tasting:

- dessert/sweets sampler
Stop 4 — Lahore Chaat & Desi Burger

Street-food-style tasting stop before the long scenic walk.

🚶 THE HIKE
After the food crawl, we begin the long waterfront portion of the day:
- Leslieville
- Waterfront Trail
- Tommy Thompson Park loop
- Ashbridges Bay
- Woodbine Beach
Tommy Thompson Park gives us the majority of the hiking distance and some of the best skyline + lake views in Toronto.
🌅 BEACH FINISH
We’ll finish at Woodbine Beach for:
- relaxing
- photos
- volleyball/chilling
- sunset vibes
🍽 OPTIONAL GROUP DINNER
For anyone staying afterward, we’ll head to a nearby restaurant/patio to celebrate surviving 25 KM together.
