About us
Casual backcountry hikes and overnight trips throughout the year - spring, summer, winter. All skill levels are welcome to join, but certain trips may have a recommended level of experience or specific gear requirements (Eg. Winter Camping, or longer hikes).
Anyone who is interesting in planning/organizing trips, let me know and we can add you to the leadership team. There are only 5 rules for events:
#1 - Safety First - Events must be properly planned and organized. Difficulty level of activities must be properly labeled so no one is taking on more than they can handle (physically or weather).
#2 - Inclusive Environment - Members of all difficultly levels are welcome, and all members must be respectful to one another.
#3 - No Fees - There are no membership or organizing fees for any activity. The only fees would be gas/fuel costs if carpooling, and camp license/fees where applicable.
#4 - Liability Waiver - We live in a crazy world... Everyone participating in an event must complete a liability waiver for the protection of the meetup organizers.

#5 - COVID-19 - All precautions must be taken in line with CDC recommendations of camping or hiking activities, including social distancing where feasible, and do NOT attend an event if you are feeling unwell, or have been exposed to the virus.
