1st Event - Play 'Ticket to Ride'
Details
Our first event! Learn to play Ticket to Ride, a modern classic.
The original game features a map of the USA (and a bit of Canada), and from then on there have been many editions with maps of Europe, Asia, etc.
I will be bringing my copy of the original, which can play up to 5 players. The number of people who can join is limited to this number, unless another person would like to bring their own copy of the game.
### Location & Time
Keeping it small and casual, we'll play at the North York Centre food court in between the library and Empress Walk (North York Centre Station). I'll post the exact location in the comments once I've arrived and set up.
Please let me know if you'll be late. If you know how to play already we can be a bit more flexible, but otherwise please try to make it on time so we have enough time to teach and play at least 2 games. Thanks!
### About this group
Toronto Competitive Board Games is a new group focusing on playing specific light-to-medium complexity board games with high replay-ability. These are my favourite types of games as they don't take too long and can become more enjoyable the more times you play them.
We typically play just 1 game per event, and there are plans for leagues in the future.
### Rules
- All skill levels are welcome and no experience is necessary! However, especially because space is limited, I'm hoping that those with an open mind and genuine interest in board games attend our events.
- We don't tolerate antisocial behaviours such as harassment, bullying, or otherwise any conduct that causes an unwelcoming environment for our members. We reserve the right to remove and/or limit participation in this group to individuals that violate these policies.
Read all that? Looking forward to seeing you guys!
