What we’re about
The Toronto Creative Writing Workshop is for writers of prose fiction - beginners, advanced, all story tellers - that want constructive and supportive feedback, in an atmosphere of collegiality and mutual respect. It's about workshops, in which one participant is to present, and the others to give feedback as we go around the circle. We're open to workshop all kinds of stories - postcard stories (100 words), short stories, chapters of a novel.
The emphasis in this group will be on writing, not talking about writing. Whether we write well or badly, we must first write. It is encouraged that every member of this group will in time submit a story. And it is hoped that with feedback, the work will become better.
The frequency of workshops will depend on the disposition of members and the supply of stories.
