Piano Master Class

We'll all be playing pieces we think are reasonable polished but want to further improve. Please bring scores for all music you want to play so we can point out specific parts to discuss. Your performances can be recorded if desired. This is for solo piano pieces (meaning no singing).

My grand piano has just been tuned and has reasonably good action and response.

We'll try to keep it to 30 minutes/person (give or take music/discussion time) so up to six people can get a chance to play and get suggestions. Obviously we should all try to be objective in our comments. (of course interpretive opinions will vary)

Just remember that a typical "master class" is where you play through a piece. It doesn't need to be memorized, but it should be in a state you can play through the entire piece or portion of larger work. Typically 2 to 20 minutes.
