February EmberTO

Hello everyone!

The first EmberTO of 2019 is happening on Thursday February 7th, starting at 6:30pm. Once again we will be enjoying the refreshments of Pharmacy Bar in Parkdale!

First on the soapbox we will have Christopher Milne (https://twitter.com/chris_j_milne) presenting on a much requested topic!

His talk "Building Ambitious Web Applications in Ember with GraphQL" will show how to leverage the power of Apollo and GraphQL in Ember for a dramatically simpler developer experience - using a Flight Management System he is building on the side as an example.

Shortly after we'll have Kenneth Buck (Fiix Software) & Rivkie Ribiat (CIBC) with a talk about PerformanceKit.
They'll give us a demo of the CIBC ember-addon that provides performance instrumentation and reporting for Ember apps. They will also share some performance troubleshooting and strategies tips.
