NovEmberTO - Octane Edition

Hello everyone!

After a summer pause, EmberTO is back! We've got a NEW location, a NEW date and a LOT of Ember news.

The next edition of EmberTO is happening on Wednesday (yes Wednesday) November 6th. Doors open at 6:30pm with talks starting at 7pm. This month we will be meeting at the Precision Nutrition headquarters "Roof Garden" at Bloor and Dovecourt (see directions below).

Our main talk will be Mattia Gheda (@ghedamat) presenting "The current state of Ember Octane" - What's new and how you can get to use it as soon as today!

Shortly after, we'll have a surprise talk - meaning that if you want to present please reach out :D

The Octane edition aims to be a new and fresh version of Ember. If you have friends and colleagues that would like to know more about our favorite JS framework, please bring them!

There will be foods and refreshments courtesy of our sponsor Precision Nutrition.

Location Details:

• Roof Garden is located at 1 Roof Garden Lane. It IS in a laneway, which can often lead to guests wandering about aimlessly. But fear not! We're attaching a picture of the building (entrance) for your convenience.

How to get there using public transit:

• Transit is always the easiest way to go. Take the Bloor (Green) Subway line to Ossington Station. You can exit the station via the Delaware exit and shave 5 minutes off your walk! From Ossington station, it's a 3 minute walk to Roof Garden.
