RSVP PROCEDURE:
***To secure your RSVP to the Escape Room part of this event, you must complete TWO steps. Both steps must be completed to attend. Simply RSVP'ing to this event via the Meetup "RSVP" button will NOT secure your ticket. This group is incredible and we have a ton of fun. I appreciate your help in making sure it can run smoothly. 🙂
Here are the steps, in order:
STEP 1. Please send $46. per admission (5 hour experience!) as an E-TRANSFER,

In this email, please note:
-> If you are paying for more than 1 admission, please send the appropriate amount for the number of tickets you want (e.g. 2 tickets = $92), to which event(s), and note the name of your guest.
***Out of fairness to members who are committed to attending, if I do not receive your etransfer within 24 hours of you joining the event, your RSVP will be removed to open up space for someone else. You are free to re-join when you are ready to send the etransfer, space permitting.
STEP 2. Once you have completed STEP 1, click RSVP on the event for the room you want. If you are bringing a guest, select a +1.

August's meetup is a little different! It's an open world adventure with performers, escape room-style puzzles, and many different plot lines to discover! You can find new narratives to explore every time you visit, so if you've done Lost & Found before, you can come join us again! And if you want to check out Lost & Found after you come to the meetup, there will be lots to do if you visit again!
STARTING LOCATION: Meet at the Gift Shop inside the Visitor Centre. I'm told it's easy to find as soon as you arrive.
THE EXPERIENCE: Be prepared for walking throughout. The experience prioritizes story and puzzles, so this won't be an epic hike, but you will be walking around the grounds of Black Creek Pioneer Village throughout the experience. Rain or shine, we make our escape! Keep an eye on the weather and dress for comfort accordingly.
This experience has room for LOTS of people, but they recommend groups of 2-4. Feel free to come with your own group, but also, this is a meetup, so be open to grouping with new friends! You can mix and mingle throughout the event - groups don't have to stick together for the entire adventure. You might want to start as 4 and then split off into two pairs, then pair up with another pair you see wandering around... and so on!

"Lost & Found is Canada's largest immersive open world puzzle adventure, where you get to wander freely through The Village at Black Creek, choose which characters to follow and which quests to take on.

The villagers of Black Creek need your help! The creek has run dry, the mill has been abandoned, and people are leaving town. If you and your party can earn the villagers' trust and locate the hidden treasure, Black Creek just might have a chance.

Meet eccentric villagers while exploring 43 historical buildings across 30 acres at The Village at Black Creek museum. Featuring authentic artifacts and sets from the 1800s. Immerse yourself in what life was like in simpler times.

Do you love puzzles? Or do you prefer a scavenger hunt? Maybe a bit of romance? Some ghost busting? Mingle with characters and check out the job board to choose which quests fit your fancy. There's something for everyone!

You'll probably need to take a breather with all the excitement going on. The Village Snack Shack and Gift Shop serve pizza, nachos, donuts, patties, soft drinks and snacks galore. Take a break whenever you need it."
This experience is 5 hours in length! WOW! There is a lunch break from 12:30-1 pm. We will find a spot to meet up to eat. Bring your own food and drinks along, or you can buy food and drinks at the experience! Up to you!
Food/Drink details:
Visitors can purchase snacks, sandwiches, soups, old-fashioned ice cream, and drinks at the on-site Gift Shop & Café (Open 11AM to 4PM), or pick up casual bites like pizza and nachos at the Pavilion Snack Bar (Open 11AM to 3PM). For something lighter, the To Go menu offers Summer Fresh Salads, with gluten and dairy free options available. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks in a bag or small cooler.

Based on the length of this experience, we may forego the traditional coffee/drinks/dinner/dessert afterward, so let's try to grab lunch together. I'll share a meeting spot for lunch on the day.
Important details about the experience only:
- We will book the spots for the escape room, so no planning needed!
- This is a prepaid event, so you must pay the fee to join in.
- Please arrive at the listed time. This is scheduled 15 mins ahead of the room time so that everyone can arrive, check in and sign waivers if applicable.
- No shows or last minute cancellations after the booking has been paid for will not receive refunds due to the non-refundable nature of the escape room businesses.
- If there is a cancellation/rescheduling of the event, you will receive refunds.
- If you ever want to join an event but all of our rooms appear to be full/sold out, please message me. I can sometimes find a way to add a person or two; and if I hear from a lot of people, I may even be able to book a whole extra room for the bonus folks so they can join in the fun!
- Please share the puzzles! We can be big groups thanks to your patronage, and sometimes escape rooms don't have multiple puzzles to work on at one time, so only a few people may be able to work on a given puzzle. Share the love! If you've been the leader on a few puzzles in a row, kindly step back and let someone else have a turn.
