Event #54! Spoookyyyy!!! This month, we have a *special, festive, bonus, after-event*! Read on to make sure you get the necessary details!
Just in time for Halloween, we have FOUR rooms at a NEW LOCATION for you to choose from! Costumes recommended - you'll see why below!
**Please note: This is the *NEW* Ready Set Go ETOBICOKE location - not the Mississauga location, where we have done rooms in the past.
***BIG NOTE: The rooms this month are each 1 hour, but they start at slightly different times, so please make note of the START TIME
for the SPECIFIC ROOM you want to do.

****This month, after the escape shenanigans, we'll be making our way to a *special bonus event*
BONUS EVENT: Nights of Lights + Pumpkinville! 🎃
-> TICKETS: I HAVE ARRANGED A DISCOUNTED GROUP RATE ($22.50 per person). So, if you would like to join the bonus event, please send an additional $22.50 as part of your RSVP email (more about that below)! Yes, you could join/pay the bonus event venue on the day, as long as there are still tickets (in theory Nights of Lights could sell out), but you'd have to risk it and pay full price at the door.
-> DETAILS, from their site: "The ultimate fall experience is back - bigger, more interactive, and packed with even more ways to play. Journey through more than 1.5 million dazzling lights, explore incredible new scenes and photo moments, then dive into Pumpkinville for midway rides, carnival games, interactive attractions, seasonal food, live entertainment, and more than
15,000 real pumpkins." There is also an optional haunted house! 🦇
-> TRAVEL: Nights of Lights is just a hot 4-minute drive from the escape room company! If you need a carpool from the escape room to the bonus event, we can arrange that on the day.
-> TIMING: I'm guessing we'll arrive at the bonus event location in time for the 8:45 pm entry slot. I'm told there will likely be no line to get in. This timing accounts for us to finish our escape rooms, take some pics, and then make our way over. Nights of Lights is open 'til midnight. Stay as long as you want!
-> FOOD/DRINKS: Yes, Nights of Lights has food and drinks for sale! I'm told there is a variety of food trucks! We can decide on the day if we start with food/drinks, or check out the experience and discover the food/drinks when we get there. -> DRESS CODE: COSTUMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! There will likely not be a ton of time for getting into costume after the escape room, so I recommend coming in costume for the whole event! Yay! FYI the bonus event is outdoors and rain or shine, so keep the weather in mind as you get your costume ready!

RSVP PROCEDURE:
***To secure your RSVP to the Escape Room part of this event, you must complete TWO steps. Both steps must be completed to attend. Simply RSVP'ing to this event via the Meetup "RSVP" button will NOT secure your ticket. This group is incredible and we have a ton of fun. I appreciate your help in making sure it can run smoothly. 🙂
Here are the steps, in order:
STEP 1. Please send an etransfer for $46 for the escape room only, per admission. If you are coming to Nights of Lights, please send over the additional $22.50. In this email, please note:
-> If you are paying for more than 1 admission, please send the appropriate amount for the number of tickets you want (e.g. 2 tickets = $92 for just the escape room, or $137 for the escape room + bonus event). Please let me know which room you're booking for, whether or not you're attending the bonus event, and please note the name of anyone else you're paying for.
***Out of fairness to members who are committed to attending, if I do not receive your etransfer within 24 hours of you joining the event, your RSVP will be removed to open up space for someone else. You are free to re-join when you are ready to send the etransfer, space permitting.
STEP 2. Once you have completed STEP 1, click RSVP on the event for the room you want. If you are bringing a guest, select a +1.

Re. Lost Orbit – 60 min. - Arrival time 7 pm:
"Prepare for an Adventurous Space Escape Room. You're part of a United States deep-space recovery team in the modern era, dispatched on a classified extraterritorial operation beyond Earth’s orbit. Prepare for launch. Destination: Deep Space. A long-abandoned Cold War Soviet space station, sealed and drifting in silence for decades. Official records are incomplete. The Russian Federation denies full disclosure. Something happened up there—something that forced an immediate evacuation.
You'll need to dock with the craft, restore critical systems one by one to regain partial control, navigate different sectors, decode corrupted Soviet-era logs, and uncover what really happened aboard the abandoned Soviet space station. HOW SCARY IS LOST ORBIT? NOT SCARY AT ALL! Lost Orbit was not designed to be a scary experience. With that being said, everybody's tolerance for fear is very different. We would consider Lost Orbit to be an adventurous, thrilling experience. Perfect for families, corporate groups, or for those who can't handle fear.
*This experience has moments with limited lighting. DOES THE ROOM MOVE? NO. But, it will feel like it! The beginning of Lost Orbit simulates a space ship with intense audio, bass, lighting, and video effects. You may feel like you're actually traveling through space. *THIS GAME REQUIRES PLAYERS TO CRAWL/CROUCH, CONTAINS STROBE / FLASHING LIGHTING EFFECTS, FOG, AND ANIMATRONICS."
Important details about the escape rooms only:
- We will book the spots for the escape room, so no planning needed!
- This is a prepaid event, so you must pay the fee to join in.
- Please arrive at the listed time. This is scheduled 15 mins ahead of the room time so that everyone can arrive, check in and sign waivers if applicable.
- No shows or last minute cancellations after the booking has been paid for will not receive refunds due to the non-refundable nature of the escape room businesses.
- If there is a cancellation/rescheduling of the event, you will receive refunds.
- If you ever want to join an event but all of our rooms appear to be full/sold out, please message me. I can sometimes find a way to add a person or two; and if I hear from a lot of people, I may even be able to book a whole extra room for the bonus folks so they can join in the fun!
- Please share the puzzles! We can be big groups thanks to your patronage, and sometimes escape rooms don't have multiple puzzles to work on at one time, so only a few people may be able to work on a given puzzle. Share the love! If you've been the leader on a few puzzles in a row, kindly step back and let someone else have a turn.
