Join us for a Sacred Vedic Fire Ceremony (Yagya)
Maximize the most auspicious day of 2026! Akshaya Tritiya is the premier time for new beginnings, ensuring that any endeavor started on this day yields eternal results. We warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for Nitya Homa, a traditional ceremony of worship and devotion.
Event Details
- Date: Sunday, April 19th, 11:30am-2pm
- Doors open: 11:15am
- Location: 792 Glencairn Ave, Toronto
- The Ceremony: A traditional Vedic Yagya (Fire Sacrifice) performed by Radhikatma Prabhu, a dedicated practitioner and initiated Brahmin with years of specialized training.
- At the end of the ceremony, we will have a vegetarian feast together.
🕊️How to Participate
This ceremony is open to everyone. By sponsoring the Yagya, your name is included in the Sankalpa (sacred intention). This means the sacrifice is performed personally on your behalf through the mediation of the Brahmin.
🍅The Art of Giving (Dana & Dakshina)
In Vedic culture, the exchange of energy is vital. To receive the full blessings of the ceremony, it is traditional to provide the necessary ingredients or the means to acquire them.
Required Offerings:
- Ingredients: Fruits, decorative flowers, flower garlands (2-3 small, 2 large), and ghee (clarified butter).
- Dana: Practical gifts for the Brahmin’s household/livelihood.
- Dakshina: A monetary contribution for the officiating Brahmin: You can donate cash or send an Interac E-Transfer to romaria@live.com
Note on Contributions: In accordance with tradition, there is no fixed price list. A set fee nullifies the spiritual results of the Yagya. Offerings should be made from the heart, reflecting your own means and your appreciation for the complexity of the sacred work performed.
⌛The Most Auspicious Moment
The peak window for receiving blessings occurs within approximately 90 minutes (2 Muhurtas) following the conclusion of the ceremony.
We look forward to seeing you there and sharing in these divine blessings!
