Toronto Gays who Want to Hangout is a social group for Toronto and GTA-area gay/bi men who want to meet new friends, hang out with them and get to know them, without any sexual pressure.
The events planned for this group are aimed at providing a social gathering place where gay/bi men can just be themselves and develop friendships within the gay community. These events provide safe spaces for this socialization.
Gay/Bi men who are looking to make meaningful connections are invited to join and to attend our events. This group has a strict policy regarding attendance and members must RSVP to each event, and be on the main attendee list, in order to attend.
If you RSVP YES to an event or are on the waitlist, as a courtesy to us and to other members, please revise your RSVP to "no" if something comes up and you cannot attend the event. If you decide just to be a "no show," someone else may lose the opportunity to attend the event. After 3 "no shows" we will discuss your membership in the group with you.
Please note that in order to be approved and maintain your membership in this group, you must provide a clear face picture (A sketch, animated photo, photo with sunglasses, or a photo with your face hidden is not permitted.) and your first or given name.
We ask that you be kind, considerate, courteous, friendly, to all the other members and enjoy yourself.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The group's co-ordinators will remove any member who harasses or displays violent or aggressive behaviour at an event or towards other members.
