Terror in the Town of York

Back by popular demand, Muddy York Walking Tours woefully presents this popular tour for Hallowe’en 2023.

This is not a ghost tour. Instead, we will be strolling the streets of Old Town Toronto – the Town of York – and exploring the Dark History that hung over our city 200 years ago. This nefarious past includes some brutal tales of duels, murders, madness, riots, executions, and obsessive, fatal love.

If you’ve ever wondered where the bodies are buried in Old Toronto, this tour is for you. We’ll also investigate how they got there, and how people in Toronto mourned and then disposed of the dead throughout the 1800s.

Some of Toronto’s most grim and gruesome history is waaaay creepier than any ghost story. Sign up for this tour to discover the most terrible terror that the Town of York had to offer.
