Abstract: Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) is key to creating secure and seamless digital experiences. This talk introduces CIAM, explaining how it protects customer data while making online interactions smoother. Attendees will learn how CIAM builds trust, enhances user convenience, and supports business growth in today’s digital world.
*Sara's Bio:**Sara Santos is the Product Group Owner – CIAM at TD Bank. She started her role joined Customer Information and Access Management (CIAM) in March 2020 at TD, responsible for managing Customer Authentication Platforms. She led the build of an authentication platform, following the agile methodology, that has been transformational uplift within our assisted channel. As part of her current mandate, she continues to lead and delivery a strategy for driving adoption to the centralized authentication platform that supports a balance of protecting customer, while providing them with great customer experience. Prior to her role in CIAM, Sara held roles within Governance and Controls and Internal Audit providing her broad lens of risks and controls.
An's Bio: An Nguyen is the VP of Client Services and Channel Alliances at IAMConcepts. After working as a marketing executive, she pivoted to cybersecurity in 2019. She completed her Cybersecurity Certificate from York University in 2020 and is an alumnus of the Mastercard Emerging Leaders Cyber Initiative from the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst. In her spare time, An helps leads two meet ups in Toronto, the Leading Cyber Ladies and IAM Community meet-up to help new entrants and junior professionals expand their network and grow in their career. An also serves on the board of the Canadian Cybersecurity Network (CCN), an organization with a mission to grow Canadian talent, businesses and to increase cybersecurity awareness.

Abstract: In this fireside chat, gain unique insights into Identity and Access Management (IAM) from a CISO's perspective. We'll explore how IAM shapes security strategies, addresses emerging threats, and supports business goals. Join us for an engaging discussion on the challenges and priorities that guide IAM decisions at the executive level.

Rob's Bio: Robert Knoblauch is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Element Fleet Management. In his role, Rob is responsible for securely moving the world forward intelligently. Rob has had extensive experience in the CIAM/IAM space having deployed solutions servicing over 20 million individuals around the world through his work at Scotiabank. He has also implemented authentication and IDP systems for other major FI's in Canada, across a 25 year career history.
