Have you ever felt you could not find your way in Canada as an immigrant? Have you spent months trying to find a job without any success? Have you ever felt lonely and wondered if you will ever make it in this country?

Well, this has been the case for most immigrants in Canada. Life as a newcomer or immigrant is NOT easy, and it can get lonely!

Come and JOIN US in this event, where you will have the opportunity to SHARE and learn from the ups and downs of the immigrant journeys of three fantastic speakers in a fun, CHILL atmosphere when you CONNECT with new people!

What to expect?

• 6:15 - 7:00 pm: Doors open! Come early to enjoy some pizza :). We will provide you with a name tag and some materials to join the activities.*
• 7:00 - 7:45 pm: Icebreaker! We know sometimes it is hard to mingle, so join us for some fun icebreaker activities so that you can meet new people and friends.
• 7:45 pm—8:30 pm: We believe that people connect through real stories. Learn from the ups and downs of three fantastic speakers who will share about their immigrant journey. (The challenges faced and the learnings during their time in Canada).
• 8:30 - 9:30 pm: Keep the conversation going! This is a great chance to exchange tips, make friends, and build a new community.
