What we’re about
My name is Vicky Gordiano. I moved to Canada by myself at the end of 2019, and since then, I have had this idea of creating a STRONG Immigrant Networking Community where we can help and empower each other.
Living abroad takes work. It is starting over in a new place, with a new culture and language and facing thousands of fears and insecurities while you look for a job opportunity, deal with your first tax filing, look for a school for your kid, or try to understand how to open a new business in Canada (among thousands of others).
I believe that being part of a kind and positive community where we can share advice, look for jobs together, share business references, and, most importantly, INSPIRE AND SUPPORT EACH OTHER would be amazing!
That is why this group aims to create a safe space for:
- creating meaningful connections and starting to build a solid network
- having conversations that lead to inspiration and opportunities
- finding job and business opportunities
- sharing helpful resources between each other
- finding mentors and friends
- creating tangibles possibilities for everyone
