What we’re about

Welcome to Toronto Muslim Friends. This meetup is an opportunity for us to get together, socialize, and make new friends.

To ensure a positive experience for everyone, members are required to follow our Code of Conduct during all interactions.

Code of Conduct:

  • Zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment
    This includes targeting others based on gender, race, ethnicity or religious beliefs.
  • Be respectful toward each other
    This community is no place for trolling, derogatory comments, sexualized language, religious policing, personal insults, or political attacks.
  • Respect personal boundaries and privacy
    Unacceptable behaviours include sending unsolicited messages, making unwelcome advances, and using/sharing contact information without consent.
  • This is not a matchmaking group
    While it is understandable that relationships may naturally develop, this group’s purpose is to foster community and friendships.
  • Be considerate of others' time
    Honour your commitments to the group, and if you’re unable to attend an event, let the hosts know as soon as possible.
  • Keep discussions on topic
    No spamming or promoting unrelated groups, businesses or products.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, removal from an event, or removal from the group, depending on the severity of the issue.
