Fall camping prep & Sunnybrook trek

This is an opportunity to get your gear ready for camping. Bring your tents to set up and seal the seams. We will also go through some camping skills for those of you who are new or haven’t camped for a while.
It’s time to walk off the weekend feasts and thanksgiving turkey! Join us for a trek around Sunnybrook park, it’s approx 4.5 kms. This is a good prep for the longer Midhurst hike.
Bring water, snacks and maybe some walking poles. Dress according to the weather and bring a hat, jacket, sunglasses and wear shoes with good grip.
If you’re camping bring your tent.
Sausages will be made on the grill onsite with condiments.
Camping Prep: TBD. Tentatively near Picnic area #2 at 11 am.
Trek: Meet at Wilket Creek parking lot #2 in Sunnybrook Park (near Leslie St and Eglinton Ave E) at 2 pm.
