Documentary Day: "No Other Land"

Assalaam Alaikum TMF.

We're meeting to view the documentary film "No Other Land" that is profoundly important as it has won awards and worldwide notoriety for capturing the struggles that Palestinians endure under an extremist Israeli regime.
It is a "Palestinian-Israeli collective of activists, the four conceived and produced the film in what they describe as an act of resistance on the path to justice in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. The film was recorded between 2019 and 2023 and shows the destruction of a Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank, which had been resisting forced displacement after an Israeli "firing zone" was declared on their land". The viewing of this film is limited to 15 people on a projection screen about 100", and is not available anywhere to view within the GTA. Extremist lobbies have tried to hide and bury this documentary. We are only able to view this film at a significant cost to purchase the rights and support this effort.

Please arrive by 3 pm to find the location and parking, set up and be seated. Parking is free and available at the mall across the street.

3:20 pm Introduction, snacks and water
3:30 pm Film starts
4:30-4:45 Intermission and washroom break
6:30 pm Event completed and you're welcome to convene in the meeting room to talk about the documentary.

Optionally we will go for dinner afterwards for those that wish to join.
