Hey Nature Lovers,
I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer so far! I usually take things a little slower during these hot months, between family events, road trips, and the heat, summer can feel a bit overwhelming in the deep woods. But once August rolls around, something magical happens: the biting bugs start to fade, and being back in the forests becomes a lot more enjoyable. That’s when I start to get excited again about fall migration and wildlife watching.
While I’ve got quite a bit on my plate already, I’m also looking to expand the events we offer through the Toronto Nature Lovers community. I’d love to find a few passionate, knowledgeable folks who might be interested in co-leading or leading their own outings under our umbrella.
Whether your interest lies in birds, insects, plants, trees, fungi, herps, or just sharing your love for the outdoors with others, I’m open to hearing about it. These outings can be bird walks, nature hikes, photo walks, anything rooted in a deep love for the wild.
If you’ve got guiding experience (or a strong nature background and a great attitude), I’d love to chat. Let’s meet for a coffee, soda, or cold beer and see if there’s a fit. This could evolve into a paid opportunity for the right people.
