Excel User Workshop - Wk#3 - Pivot Tables
This is Week #3 of a 6 part, weekly workshop series held each Thursday from 5 July until 9 August. The series is free with VERY limited seating (maximum of 10 people). We start at 5:00 pm sharp. Please ask your boss to let you leave work a little early. If you arrive late, please come in quietly and take a seat. Bring your own laptop. Week #3 - 19 July Pivot Tables make life a lot easier. Want an easy way to measure and manage the data you collect? You can use formulas, relational formulae, and absolute values. That's one way to do it. Pivot Tables can make your life a lot easier and the work go faster. Week #4 - 26 July Formulae (or Formulas) can be a right royal pain in the pooper - but, boy oh boy, they are useful. Let's cover a few basics to get you started and have a quick look at how you can explore more advanced possibilities. Week #5 - 2 August Yes, Excel really can work as a database. This week we look at connecting external data sources and manipulating the data we have in worksheet or multiple worksheets. Week #6 - 9 August What did we miss? All those questions that built up as you worked your way through the workshops - now is your chance to ask and explore. Plus we cover any menu items missed when we ran short of time.

What we're about

NetSquared Toronto (Net2TO) is a place for nonprofits, social enterprises and social purpose businesses to come together to learn about technology trends, issues and tools, share stories and build new relationships. Net2TO is run by volunteers Farrah Rooney at Chris Carter Marketing ( http://www.chriscartermarketing.com ), Kerry Milovic at Traction on Demand ( http://tractionondemand.com/ ), and Elissa Pendergast at CARFAC Ontario ( http://www.carfacontario.ca ). We're also a part of the global NetSquared community ( http://www.netsquared.org ).

Net2TO events are live streamed so they are accessible to anyone, regardless of where you are. As well, NetSquared events are hosted across Canada - find out if there's a local group near you (https://www.techsoupcanada.ca/en/community/netsquared).
