Use Your Data - Save Your Money!
One of the best benefits of examining your donor data is that you can save money - lots of it! In this session we will go over a variety of cash saving and waste reducing data-oriented activities that have helped many other organizations. They can help you too! We'll discuss address validation, database segmentation (Recency/Frequency/Monetary), Direct Mail response rates by postal area, and predictive modelling. You don't need to be an expert in any of this, but it always helps to learn. About the presenter: Matthew Dubins is Chief Donor Scientist at Donor Science Consulting: a truly Canadian consulting agency using predictive analytics, data visualization, dashboarding, and address correction to help you do better fundraising with the help of your data! You can reach him at [masked].

What we're about

NetSquared Toronto (Net2TO) is a place for nonprofits, social enterprises and social purpose businesses to come together to learn about technology trends, issues and tools, share stories and build new relationships. Net2TO is run by volunteers Farrah Rooney at Chris Carter Marketing ( http://www.chriscartermarketing.com ), Kerry Milovic at Traction on Demand ( http://tractionondemand.com/ ), and Elissa Pendergast at CARFAC Ontario ( http://www.carfacontario.ca ). We're also a part of the global NetSquared community ( http://www.netsquared.org ).

Net2TO events are live streamed so they are accessible to anyone, regardless of where you are. As well, NetSquared events are hosted across Canada - find out if there's a local group near you (https://www.techsoupcanada.ca/en/community/netsquared).
