About us

Have you ever wanted to take your cutest standies or plushies to a cafe and live your oshikatsu dreams? Want to gush about the newest episode of your favourite show or the latest banner drop of your current hyper fixation game? Me too! Let's get together and explore Toronto while being our unashamedly nerdy selves.

What is oshikatsu?

According to wikipedia - Oshikatsu (推し活; lit. "lifestyle supporting a bias") is a Japanese fandom subculture popular among young people, especially young women, in which a person spends significant amounts of time and money to support an idol or favorite character, primarily as a form of fan identity.

Why should I care?

Oshikatsu is just another form of self expression. It takes a passion that can sometimes feel isolating and turns it into something social, allowing people to build friendships they wouldn't have otherwise. Are you obsessed with an obscure anime from 1997 that you hand make goods for? Amazing! Bring that passion and tell us all about it. Do you love an idol so much you have a binder of photo cards heavier than a textbook? It's time for show and tell! Do you spend too much on gacha and have your favourite character's mini plushes in every variant? Then you're just like me and I'm excited to share my collection with you too.

In this space you don't need to feel embarrassed or shy about being passionate. We're here to support and uplift everyone.

After serious consideration, I have decided to make this space a women's only space. The safety and comfort of the members that attend these events is my highest priority and so event locations will be obscured unless they are part of a larger public facing event. Thank you for your understanding.
