Having completed the Introduction to Practical Philosophy course, you may now check out Philosophy & Happiness. This is a 10-week course that explores the meaning of true happiness. Become aware of the difference between happiness and pleasure and rediscover your true nature.

Weekly Topics:

  1. What is true happiness? Is this natural?
  2. The relationship between happiness and law & Happiness and utilitarianism
  3. How may it be experienced fully and how is it lost? Is it permanent or transient?
  4. What is the effect of gaining happiness at the expense of another person’s happiness? & Is such happiness true and lasting?
  5. The relationship between happiness and service
  6. Happiness and pleasure, Epicurus, Aristippus, Plato
  7. The Platonic goods which lead to happiness
  8. Lao Tzu, finding inner equilibrium
  9. Happiness, contentment & Patanjali
  10. Finding happiness in work & Happiness and wisdom
